In the growing population society, the demand of food can only be fulfilled if technology is implemented in agriculture. The development is that farmers should get a very less laborious environment in the field. Since agriculture is the back bone of a country concentration should be given in the development of agriculture field. A large number of modern machines and technologies have to be implemented in order to improve the food grain production from small area of land and with the involvement of a smaller number of labours and within a short duration. So, to fulfil this, various technologies have been developed. The design and analysis of the hopper blade used in canal making machine was carried out in this work. And the results concluded that the machine provided a good efficiency in the canal making process.
