SynopsisA commercial sample of poly (dA-dT), a copolymer of 'L'-deoxyri~)osyladeiiositie (dA) and 2'-deoxyribosylthymiditie (dT) of perfectly altertiat itig sequence, was fractionated by chromatography on Agarose gel. Paucidisperse fractions of different molecular size were obtained. The plot of log s "~~, ,~ values shows a linear dependence on Ve. The biioyatit densities of individual fractions do riot, differ over the moleciilar size ratige st,udied. 0 1 1 the other hand, the heat-itidiiced hyperchromic eft'ect was fortiid to depend oii molecbiilar size below a certain limit, SO^^,,^ = 4.12 S.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
