In the contribution we present the effect of pressure on magnetic properties of molecule based magnet KMnCr(CN) 6 . Applied pressure affects magnetization curves only marginally. The saturation is reached at higher magnetic fields under pressure, but the effect of the pressure on the values of saturated magnetization µ s , remnant magnetization µ r and coercive field H C are almost negligible. Observed pronounced increase of the Curie temperature T C with increasing pressure can be attributed to strengthening of antiferromagnetic superexchange interaction. Additionally we observed double magnetic transition induced by hydrostatic pressure. All pressure changes were fully reversible.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
