Absorptive capacity has played a distinctive constructive role in fostering innovation in organisational research in recent decades. Enhancing absorptive capacity is essential to ensure a firms long-term competitiveness. The foundation of absorptive capacity relies greatly on prior related knowledge and diversity of background concerning an aggregated system that can explain how the entire mechanism works. Regarding more direct efforts to explore systematically the interdependence between existing construct variables and others new constructs to label the capabilities of a firm to enhance this capability, the outcomes remain surprisingly rare. Till date, researchers' understanding of the key macro-micro (organisation-individual) linkage of acquiring, assimilating, transforming, and exploiting development has not been examined comprehensively. Thus, the premise of this research is to propose a "macro-micro dynamic integrative design" that will shift the learning landscape of absorptive capacity that internally can drive more effective learning and capability development.Int. Recent works have studied the relationship of absorptive capacity and environmental turbulence with the complementarity of organisational processes (Lichtenthaler, 2009;Jansen et al., 2006). The findings are interesting regarding the exploratory, transformative, and exploitive learning regarding innovation and performance but still do not yet address the macro-microfoundations (organisation-individual) linkage of absorptive capacity. On an extended agenda, the paper study the managerial intensity particularly how attentional processing become a driver of absorptive capacity initiate by decision-maker (Ocasio, 1997;Cho and Hambrick, 2006) and appears to be applicable to enrich the integration of the macro-microfoundations of the management processes underlying absorptive capacity evolution through an intensive design mechanism, firms procedural, and communication channels to deepen enhance absorptive capacity and to broaden the prior literature on absorptive capacity. Standing to make a number of contributions and to address the research question of creating competitiveness without involving the complicated measure of and heavy investment in additional tangible assets, I extend theory and pursue empirical findings by proposing and testing a macro-microfoundations integrative design focused on exploring the dynamics of absorptive capacity supported by the intense design of organisational routine. Contributing to the theory, I use the proposed framework to delineate expectations concerning how organisational routine constructs are relevant to the process of absorptive capacity. The integrative model will allow the examination between macro and micro and their complementarity relationships. Moreover, the purpose of this study was to identify related management fundamental factors that are normally missing from the current literature on...
To create a competitive edge, firm needs a strategy that is both creative and practical. The rapid technology change, increased global competition, and greater customer sophistication have made leader more difficult to execute than ever before. In 1847, young engineer created his path for others to follow and played a major role in determining the course of the industrial revolution in 19 th century. Rather than follow others, he employ his knowledge to the best practical advantage, led to innovate that revolutionize the technology of the age, some of them still influence our lives today. Werner Von Siemens and his vision established him as a true and resourceful advocate of contemporary technology. His characteristics is reflected in his genius management has earned him a place among the great pioneer of the industrial revolution.
