In 2016, it was developed a research with alumni of Externado University Master's Program in Social Responsibility and Sustainability-The research process called cases from companies and foundations joined to Global Compact Local Network. The case study presented in this document is the synthesis of a qualitative investigation made by Nelson Castaño y Paola Vargas in 2016, then published in 2018 in was published in the book Territorial Peace and private social investment: contributions to SDG 16 by the Externado University.The research focused on the strengthening of capabilities project throughout Inclusive Business developed by Crecer en Paz Foundation, a non-profit entity, with legal and administrative independence, created by the Colombian company Grupo Argos. Throughout the study case it was observed that within inclusive businesses might exist risks associated do to natural factors like climatic events and to educational factors such as negotiation skills which affect the guaranty of the economic profitability to both the allied company and the producers, resulting in a business relationship with sharing of losses.Nevertheless, the pursuit of socio-economic development as business model of Crecer en paz Foundation generated a link of mutual benefit represented by improvement of capacities for work, the transformation in the social relationship at the level of the communities and the advantages of reputational, environmental and economic character for the allied companies.
