The way in which digitization in file management improves the productivity of employees in a public entity is presented. The 5S methodology was used as a stimulus to help in the proper organization of the files, implementing the TEAMS application for the digitization of poorly archived documents. The research was pre-experimental applied to a population of files resulting from the interventions.
The general objective of this research was to determine how the redesign of the processes improves the performance of the traceability system of the transport units that belong to the transport and distribution area of a logistics operator, the methodology used was of an applied type, with a quantitative approach and pre-experimental design. The results indicated that the traceability system had a breadth of 39%, a depth of 30%, an accuracy of 100% and an access ratio that increased according to the age of the search, also, it was found that the dispatch logistics management had an effectiveness of 95% and an efficiency of 70%, which indicated that there were opportunities for improvement, therefore, the processes linked to the traceability of transport units were redesigned, 2 applications and a data visualization report were implemented. In conclusion, it was determined that with respect to the processes there was an increase of 2% in effectiveness and an increase of 24% in efficiency, likewise, with respect to the traceability system, the amplitude was improved by 55%, the depth by 70%, the accuracy of 100% and significantly improved by keeping the average time in any search period.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
