Resumo: Objetivo: Identificar características de personalidade das mulheres vítimas de violência doméstica. Método: Pesquisa qualitativa, realizada no ano de 2015, no município de São Jerônimo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Participaram quatro mulheres que sofreram violência doméstica, com idades variando entre 27 e 45 anos, avaliadas através da técnica de Rorschach, de acordo com Vaz (1997/2014). Resultados: Os principais achados atestam que todas as participantes da pesquisa apresentam prejuízo na capacidade de adaptação e dificuldades nos relacionamentos interpessoais. A capacidade de suportar conflitos e tensões está prejudicada pelas condições intelectuais, que está relacionada à percepção da realidade e as habilidades intelectivas. Apresentam, de acordo com os dados, componentes compatíveis com alguns transtornos de personalidade relacionados a características depressivas, obsessivas, de ansiedade e identidade de gênero. Conclusão: Os resultados apontaram que a violência doméstica deixa marcas profundas no psiquismo da mulher. Palavras-chaves: Violência Doméstica, Personalidade, Técnica de Rorschach. Abstract: Objective: To identify personality characteristics of women victims of domestic violence. Method: Qualitative research, held in the year 2015, in the city of São Jerônimo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Four women who suffered domestic violence were involved, aged between 27 and 45 years, evaluated through the Rorschach technique, according to Vaz (1997/2014). Results: The main findings attest that all participants in the survey present damage to the ability to adapt and difficulties in interpersonal relationships. The ability to withstand conflicts and tensions is impaired by intellectual conditions, which is related to the perception of reality and the intelectual skills. They present, according to the data, components compatible with some personality disorders related to depressive, obsessive, anxiety and gender identity characteristics. Conclusion: The results pointed out that domestic violence leaves deep marks on the woman's psyche.
