greater Edmonton scores were independently predictive of longer post-surgery hospital stays with a hazard ratio for discharge of 0.87 (95% CI 0.79 to 0.95, p < 0.001)) per point. The 5 minute walk score was not significant after adjustment (p = 0.054). Conclusion: The Edmonton frail scale score predicts length of hospital stay post cardiac surgery in patients older than 65 years of age.
