Psychiatric medico-legal expertise is a way to ascertain the deviation from the social and cultural norms of society. In the case of minors, the same legal norms are applied, often without taking into account the fact that the deviant behavior of minors is a form of protest against his capacity for adaptation and psychological, cognitive and social integration. The purpose of the article is to establish the particularities of the medico-legal psychiatric expertise in minors from the perspective of the practice of forensic psychiatry. The paper identified the differences between the classic norms of forensic psychiatry, the specifics of minors' behavioral deviations, Sweden's experience regarding the general theoretical framework in forensic psychiatry, the Theory of Dual Processes and is exemplified by the criminological profile of minors in relation to the norms of social adaptation and medico-legal psychiatric expertise.
Law and psychology have a lot in common. Respect for the law is the guarantee of fair justice. Understanding the role and importance of psychology in law contributes to achieving fair justice, but also educating citizens for a society of law. The purpose of this article is to identify contemporary solutions and ideas regarding the application of psychological knowledge in the judicial process that would expand the research field of forensic psychology. For this purpose, three objectives were postulated to specify the impact of judicial theory and practice on psychology, to identify the most "valid" links between law and psychology and to note the newest solutions and ideas. As a result, it is observed that the manner in which justice is carried out has a profound impact on behavior, individual and collective decisions, and, respectively, on the development of psychology as a science. Another result is that the links between law and psychology are multiple, interconnected and complex, and can and should be analyzed through scientific methods.
Growing generations refer to people who were born after 1997. In sociological and social psychology studies, these people fall into the categories of Generation Z and Generation A. Their specifics are behavioral attitude, decision-making ability and how they accept socio-human values, including national culinary traditions. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, a healthy lifestyle is a problem for the growing generation due to the rapid changes that are taking place at all levels and in all systems. The rights to quality education, a healthy and safe environment, the best physical and mental health and others are difficult to respect in conditions of maximum uncertainty, stress, physical distancing, women leaving work and the need to combine activities professional with domestic concerns. However, young people of the growing generation have a positive attitude towards the administration of the anti-COVID vaccine19. In conclusion, it is important to know and respect the rights of growing generations to a healthy lifestyle.
Duplicate behavior is the behavioral manifestation of trying to provoke, imitate, or exaggerate some behavioral deviations in order to evade certain social obligations. This type of behavior differs from the desirable social response to certain societal challenges. The risk of duplicate behavior lies in the high rate of replicability, especially among adolescents. In the context of European values (respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law, respect for the rights of persons belonging to minorities) it is important to identify the types of duplicate behavior, the symptoms of duplicate behavior specific to individual’s protection of human rights against persons with such conduct.
