The authors introduce a new con1iguration 01 resonant type high-1requency inverter which has inherent last-response Variable Voltage Variable Frequency (VVVF) strategy and high power adaptability. The two versions 01 this inverter which use voltage-vector and current-vector control have been investigated by means 01 extensive computer simulation show i ng the operating characteristics in terms of normalized variables. Two experimental set-ups using Static Induction Transistors lor induction heating application and A-SCRs lor DC/ AC wave10rm synthesis are also described.
A sinusoidal PWM type inverter using GateTurn-Off Thyristors and featuring a new instantaneous current control strategy is described. Its utilization as an interface for a utility-grid connected photovoltaic generator with maximum power tracking capability is explained, and computer simulated along with experimental waveforms are discussed. Its simple hardware circuitry and excellent characteristics make it suitable for a wide variety of applications, including AC motor drives.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
