The paper attempts to systematically present the problem of creating the desired level of situational awareness of the population by indicating the possibility of a comprehensive approach to the threats, evaluation of the risk associated with the materialisation of these threats and its impact on the state of situational awareness. Based on this analysis, it was proposed to model the possibilities of counteracting the effects of risk through the use of modern information technologies, including the integration of the information database on threats, with particular emphasis on the Things Internet platform and Big-Data class systems. Against this background, the role of multi-faceted exploration of data on threats, the intensity and directions of their spread has been highlighted. This applies in particular to the promotion of the level of situational awareness not only of the society but also of locallevel, state-level and international-level authorities and organisations managing the crisis under COVID-19 conditions. However any threats and disruptions to information systems directed to the population can cause confusion and chaos, which can naturally result in a real risk of reduced ability by various entities and the whole society, or by selected communities, to perform their tasks.
An attempt has been made to specify a determinant of effectiveness of a modern organization in this article. One of the determinants is information effectiveness. Gathering various types of information has been the basis for enhancing modern operating entities. Very large information resources can be subject to multifaceted exploration and discovery of knowledge. Extracting/generating maximum amount of knowledge from systems which gather polymorphic information of very high volume (so called "Big-Data" systems) in the form of numerical data, text ńles, images (video) is possible due to various mechanisms of multifaceted analysis. lt is especially relevant in modern, distributed, process oriented and multi-entity organizations which require integrated operation for execution of complex, common processes, drawing from a uniform knowledge base.
W artykule podjęto problem identyfikacji czynników wzmacniających zapewnianie bezpieczeństwa i ciągłości działania podmiotów administracji publicznej ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem wymiaru informacyjnego. Przedstawiono tu pewne uogólnione założenia i wymagania dla modelu zapewniania ciągłości działania wraz z ramową koncepcją samego modelu wielowymiarowego tzw. „pajęczynowego” posiłkującego się dostępnymi standardami NIST/BCP.
W artykule przedstawiono zarys problemu modelowania obiektów rzeczywistych do postaci „wirtualnej” możliwej do przetwarzania w systemach informatycznych. Skoncentrowano się na operacyjnych obiektach geoprzestrzennych zobrazowywanych na podkładach mapowych, dla potrzeb analizy zagrożeń systemów zarządzania kryzysowego. Dokonano porównań stosowanych standardów i zaproponowano rozwiązanie służące zwiększeniu jednoznaczności modelowania.
