RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE INTENSITY OF INSTAGRAM SOCIAL MEDIA USAGE WITH SELF ESTEEM Self-esteem is formed by interactions with other people. At present, social interaction can not only be done in the real world but can also be done in the virtual world, through social media such as Instagram. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the intensity of Instagram social media usage and self-esteem. This research is a quantitative study with a correlational design. The sample in this study were 205 undergraduate students of Malahayati University, aged between 17 to 25 years. The data in this study were obtained using an Instagram social media intensity usage questionnaire and a self-esteem scale. The results of data analysis using Spearman's rho show that there is a significant positive relationship between intensity of Instagram social media usage and self-esteem. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 205 mahasiswa S1 Universitas Malahayati, berusia antara 17 sampai 25 tahun. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner intensitas penggunaan media sosial instagram dan skala harga diri. Hasil analisis data menggunakan Spearman’s rho menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara intensitas penggunaan media sosial instagram dengan harga diri. Stres kerja adalah suatu kondisi dinamik individu dalam menghadapi peluang, kendala, atau tuntutan, yang terkait dengan apa yang sangat diinginkan dan hasilnya dipersepsikan sebagai sesuatu yang tidak pasti tetapi penting. Konflik peran ganda merupakan suatu bentuk konflik peran antar dimana tekanan peran dari domain pekerjaan dan keluarga saling bertentangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konflik peran ganda dengan stres kerja pada pegawai wanita yang sudah menikah di Universitas Malahayati Bandar Lampung. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai wanita yang sudah menikah dan mempunyai anak usia 0-12 tahun sesuai ciri-ciri tertentu. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling sebanyak 42 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh hasil terdapat hubungan antara konflik peran ganda dengan stress kerja (Rxy 0.719 dengan Sig 0.000 dimana p < 0.000). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima. Artinya semakin tinggi konflik peran ganda maka semakin tinggi stress kerja dan sebaliknya semakin rendah konflik peran ganda maka semakin rendah stress kerja.
Stres was a condition that was close to our daily life, including to male students of medical faculty. Curriculum methods, large and integrated study materials demand, also long-term study times, could be enough stresors. Exercising has many benefits, not only physically but also to practice our response to stres condition. This study aimed to find relationship between exercise activities with stres tolerance, with hypothesis there were relationship between exercise activities with stres tolerance on male medical faculty students. Subjects on this study were 88 male students from medical faculty of Malahayati University. This study was an observation analytic study with cross sectional approach. Result data analyzed used Mann Whitney Test, with p value <0,05. The result of bivariate test using Mann Whitney shown that there was relationship of exercise activity with stres tolerance with p = 0,000 (p > 0,05). School readiness is indicated to determine children ability to participate learning in primary school. The research is aimed to describe school readiness profile in children aged 5 – 6 years old in Bandar Lampung who has been declared ready to participate learning in primary school. The result in the research showed that personal and social aspects (self-awareness, self-autonomy, fine motoric skill, and tracking precisely) has lower score than cognitive and academic aspects. Therefore, the abilities are related to self-awareness, self-autonomy, and the eager to do learn is need to be developed so children can perform optimally. Parents and Teachers has an important role to support children transition to participate learning and rule in school. Children, parents, and teachers should be committed to make a synergy in order to achieve success in school.
