Researchers from everywhere in the world, including South Africa, are looking into this variety in order to fully comprehend different aspects of Omicron, but it might take a long time to learn everything there is to know. Due to the scarcity of studies, misinformation about the Omicron variation is spreading around the world, posing a serious threat to healthcare systems and everyday life. Here, we reviewed the finding and characteristics of the Omicron variant, compared the transmission capacity of the Omicron variant with other variants, discussed on the influence of the Omicron variation on the severity of COVID-19 in cancer as well as diabetic patients, and discussed potential strategies and treatments options to avoid and overcome the Omicron variant’s prevalence.
Antiviral is such as an agent, defined as used to treat the targeted virus, or vaccine to produce an antibody against the virus. It gives a proactive therapeutic effect. On the other hand, there is a long traditional use of herbal medicine in the medical platform. The herbal medicine is ornamented with a wide therapeutic window and its side effect is less. The synthetic drug sometimes invites some adverse effects, which is more important that is it occurs more frequently. This gives the opportunity to the researchers to get the noble drug based on the herbal formulation. This review reveals the many herbal plants with their use against the specific virus with the experimental method, based on the knowledge of the Indian traditional system of medicine. The recent database shows the growing research with the herbal medicine, with their therapeutics, especially this time of the society, suffering from the covid -19 (Coronavirus disease), because the doctors have no other options except steroid. So traditional plants open a new chapter in the research of the new antiviral drug.
This paper deals with an eco-epidemiological approach with disease circulating through the predator species. Disease circulation in the predator species can be possible by contact as well as by external sources. Here, we try to discuss the role of external source of infection along with nutritional value on system dynamics. To establish our findings, we have worked out the local and global stability analysis of the equilibrium points with Hopf bifurcation analysis associated with interior equilibrium point. The ecological consequence by ecological basic reproduction number as well as the disease basic reproduction number or basic reproductive ratio are obtained and we have analyzed the community structure of the particular system with the help of ecological and disease basic reproduction numbers. Further we pay attention to the chaotic dynamics which is produced by disease circulating in predator species by contact. Our numerical simulations reveal that eco-epidemiological system without external source of infection induced chaotic dynamics for increasing force of infection due to contact, whereas in the presence of external source of infection, it exhibits stable solution. It is also observed that nutritional value can prevent chaotic dynamics. We conclude that chaotic dynamics can be controlled by the external source of infection as well as nutritional value. We apply basic tools of nonlinear dynamics such as Poincare section and maximum Lyapunov exponent to investigate chaotic behavior of the system.
