When a user intends to custom make a name card, the very first step that the printing service provider would ask for is their name card design artwork, yet users do not have their name card design artwork. The client would feel frustrated with the designer to create artwork that does not meet their requirements. The designer would also feel the same as the artwork has been rejected regularly by the client. From the primary data survey result, most respondents agreed that they have a clear idea in mind but have difficulty expressing their idea to the designer. The opinions concluded from the interviews would there be another choice for the user to design an artwork besides hiring a designer. This study has proposed a designer matching platform to match the client's preference and designer's talent and an online artwork design editor as an additional option for the user.
Games have existed since time immemorial and have proved to significantly change people's mentality and attitudes towards countless scenarios. Although games are ‘time wasters', we should acknowledge the one thing that games offer, constant testing, and learning a simple game engages the brain and proves that games are an asset in mental development. Thus, gamification can be used to provide a fun learning environment. In this article, the authors discuss how gamification has been implemented in various applications over the years, people's take on gamification and gamified apps from a survey and interview conducted, and thereafter design a student-oriented gamified study app, Gamesy, that makes use of game elements to improve performance in school and change/improve study habits in a game environment via progressive game design. With this, better performance may be realized in the tertiary education level.

Planners often go out of the city when planting large-scale solar farms due to requirements for huge, flat surface areas. This reduces urban proximity to renewable energy sources, causing dissipation during energy transfer and a waste in solar energy unused within urban areas. This paper aims at understanding the prospect and challenges in transforming buildings from passively consuming energy to actively generating energy for cities. As every building has a different renewable energy capacity, how may we re-distribute power amongst a network of users, forming a socio-economy around distributed power generation? This paper first presents its theoretical approach learning from fields of biology and information theory as a source of inspiration for its design methodology. It then presents a context study of Hong Kong and its Feed-in Tariff scheme that incentivizes distributed power generation, and identifies the challenges. Afterwards, it defines 'Unattended and Smart Solar Energy Urban System' and proposes the parameters which the system should comprehend on its dashboard for demand-side management of energy. Finally, preliminary results of using a sudoku algorithm in distributing time and pricing factors of energy exchange are presented. This ongoing research project aims at SDG goals 7 and 11.
