This study aims to develop the teaching material needed as a support for the achievement of indicators of students' learning outcomes, and to know the feasibility and the response of the students to the use of Student's Worksheets based on liveworksheet software on PPKn subject. The method used in this research was Research and Development (R&D) using ADDIE development model. At the validation stage, liveworksheet was validated with 2 validators, namely 1 material expert validator and 1 media expert validator. At the implementation stage, liveworksheet software was tested in grade V students in the even semester of 2020-2021 academic year. The results showed that liveworksheet software was feasible with the percentage of achievements was 75% according to media expert, and 91,75% according to material expert. The test results of the students showed the percentage of 73,52% with good criteria. Therefore, it can be concluded that liveworksheet software on PPKn subject in sub theme "Rights" is feasible and interesting to be used as evaluation lrarning media for fifth grade students.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas dan kelayakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Google Slide pada materi pecahan sederhana. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE yang memiliki lima tahapan yaitu analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, penerapan dan evaluasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner. Validasi media berdasarkan uji ahli materi dan ahli media. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas III SDS Muhammadiyah 4 Jakarta. Hasil uji ahli materi memperoleh skor 98% dengan kategori sangat layak dan hasil uji media memperoleh skor 71,1% dengan kategori layak. Respon siswa terhadap media memperoleh hasil 93% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Google Slide layak dan baik dalam melihat kualitas pemahaman konsep materi dan memotivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran tersebut.
Learning about decimals is an important part in mathematics. However at the same time, decimals are known as the abstract numbers for students. Mostly in Indonesia, decimal is taught only as another notation for fractions or percentages. There are no meaningful references for them such as the use of concrete situations. This study aimed at investigating one situation that enables students to learn about decimals in a meaningful way, i.e. measurement activities. Design research was chosen to reach the research goal. Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) underlies the design of context and activities. Our findings are that the students could discover decimals and get meaningful situation from it. Measurement activities can promote the students' notion of decimals which, then, provoke the students' thinking into the idea of using number line as a model for placing the magnitude of decimals. Based on these findings, it is recommended that RME be implemented as an approach of teaching and learning decimals.Keywords: decimals, Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), number line, design research. AbstrakPembelajaran bilangan desimal merupakan bagian yang sangat penting dalam matematika. Akan tetapi, bilangan desimal dikenal sebagai bilangan yang abstrak untuk siswa. Pembelajaran bilangan desimal di Indonesia sebagian besar diajarkan hanya sebagai bentuk lain dari pecahan dan persentase. Belum ada acuan yang bermakna seperti halnya penggunaan situasi yang konkret (nyata). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi salah satu situasi yang memungkinkan para siswa untuk mempelajari bilangan desimal dengan cara yang bermakna, seperti kegiatan pengukuran. Metode desain riset dipilih untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian. Pendidikan Matematika Realistik mendasari desain konteks dan aktivitas pada penelitian ini. Penemuan kami adalah para siswa dapat menemukan bilangan desimal dan mendapatkan situasi yang bermakna dari penemuan tersebut. Kegiatan pengukuran dapat mendukung pemahaman siswa terhadap bilangan desimal, yang kemudian memancing pemikiran siswa terhadap ide penggunaan garis bilangan sebagai model untuk menempatkan besaran bilangan desimal tersebut. Rekomendasi berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini adalah Pendidikan Matematika Realistik sangat cocok untuk diterapkan sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran bilangan desimal.
Teachers' beliefs towards educational research has become one significant factor in explaining the gap between research and practice. The present study aimed at reviewing the scale to measure teachers' beliefs about the causes and problems related to research-based practices, describing beliefs that teachers appear to hold, and examining its relation to their demographic characteristics. The study involved 466 in-service teachers in Jakarta Province. The study employed the 24-item scale developed by Broekkamp and van Hout-Wolters (2007). The study indicated that 20 out of 24 items of the scale were valid and reliable to measure the teachers’ beliefs. The scale consisted of two factors, namely, causes pertaining to research and causes pertaining to the use of research. The study also showed that most of participants tend to hold negative beliefs, especially pertaining to the use of research. There was significant difference in beliefs related to teaching experience.
