a b s t r a c tLotfi et al. [Solving a full fuzzy linear programming using lexicography method and fuzzy approximate solution, Appl. Math. Modell. 33 (2009) 3151-3156] pointed out that there is no method in literature for finding the fuzzy optimal solution of fully fuzzy linear programming (FFLP) problems and proposed a new method to find the fuzzy optimal solution of FFLP problems with equality constraints. In this paper, a new method is proposed to find the fuzzy optimal solution of same type of fuzzy linear programming problems. It is easy to apply the proposed method compare to the existing method for solving the FFLP problems with equality constraints occurring in real life situations. To illustrate the proposed method numerical examples are solved and the obtained results are discussed.
Picture fuzzy sets are extension of Atanassov's intuitionistic fuzzy sets. Picture fuzzy set based models may be adequate in situations when we face human opinions involving more answers of types: yes, abstain, no, refusal. It can be considered as a powerful tool represent an uncertain information in the process of cluster analysis. In this paper, we present a geometrical interpretation of picture fuzzy sets. We propose correlation coefficients for picture fuzzy sets which considers the degree of positive membership, degree of neutral membership, degree of negative membership and the degree of refusal membership. Effectiveness of the proposed correlation coefficient has been established in a bidirectional approximate reasoning systems. We apply the correlation coefficient to clustering analysis under picture fuzzy environments. Advantages of proposed correlation coefficients and drawbacks of existing correlation coefficients have been discussed.

Abstract:We describe the synthesis and antimalarial activities of 1H-1,2,3-triazole tethered 7-chloroquinolineisatin hybrids. Activity against cultured parasites was dependent on the C-5 substituent of the isatin ring as well as the alkyl chain length between the isatin and 7-chloroquinoline moieties. Compound 8h, with an optimum alkyl chain length (n=3) and a chloro substitutent at the C-5 position of the isatin ring, displayed the best activity among the test compounds, with IC 50 value of 1.21 µM against cultured W2-strain Plasmodium falciparum.
