Due to the advancement in web technologies, learning management systems are becoming involved in various fields of distance education. The computer-facilitated teaching and learning have been enticed audiences for various advantages offered by the management systems. This paper reviews the need for computer-aided language learning that could be accommodated by the feature-rich learning management systems. A systematic review over the pool of 450 papers from two established journals in education was conducted. The insight from the reviewed papers, subsequently, was analyzed to construct a proposal on the use of learning management systems to improve foreign language learning. The framework of the systems could potentially enhance the learning experience for the more comfortable learning and better learner management.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : 1) kemampuan menggambar ilustrasi pada siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif metode drill (latihan), 2) seberapa besar peningkatan hasil nilai menggamabar ilustarsi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran koopetarif metode drill (latihan), 3) hasil peningkatan aktivitas siswa di SDN No. 105280 Desa Lama Kec.Hamparan Perak denngan metode pembelajaran drill (latihan). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN No. 105280 Desa Lama Ket.Hamparan Perak. Subjeknya adalah siswa SD kelas V yang terdiri dari 30 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah tes hasil praktek menggambar ilustrasi siswa dan lembar pengamatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (action research), dengan menggunakan 3 (tiga) siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : 1) hasil kemampuan menggambar ilustrasi siswa pada siklus I rata-rata (66.5), 2) hasil kemampuan siswa pada siklus II rata-rata (73.6), 3) hasil keampuan siswa pada silus III rata-rata (80.7), hasil nilai menggambar ilustrasi (yang bertemakan hewan dan lingkungannya) semakan meningkat dari siklus I, II sampai dengan siklus ke III terlihat pada bentuk gambar hewan yang semakin terlihat serta aktivitas siswa dalam berkelompok semakin meninggkat, sehingga dapat dikatakan melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif metode drill (latihan). Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui metode pembelajaran metode drill (latihan) dapat meningkatkan hasil nilai menggambar ilustrasi siswa.
