To study the crack repair performance of shape memory alloy to the concrete beam, the SMA wire with a certain initial strain at room temperature is placed eccentrically in the concrete beam. Because of its constrained recovery stress produced during the phase transition, the driving force is exerted on the beam by energizing the SMA. In this paper, the constrained recovery stress of SMA was calculated based on the Brinson constitutive model and would be equivalent to the unit stress of reinforcement. The repair performance of SMA was analyzed by ANSYS. According to the study, it can be concluded that the cracks in concrete beam can be effectively controlled by SMA. Increasing the diameter of SMA is a effective measure to enhance its driving force. When the excitation temperature is, the diameter of SMA are 2mm and 4mm, the response rates of crack width are 4.1% and 16.5%. Under certain conditions, the smaller the reinforcement ratio is, the better repair performance.
In order to deal with the field metrology, this paper proposed an information management system which contains daily work management section, human resource section, data management section, auto-reminding section and portable device. It combines the human resource management, equipment management, data processing and filed detection and embodies them in one system located in office and the other one in field. As an information system, it ensures the security and reliability of detection data.
The use of underground structures such as tunnel for subways, highways, material storage, and sewage and water transport is increasing in the West of China. As the strongest earthquake recent years, the Wenchuan Earthquake (M8.0) on May 12nd, 2008,has caused very severe casualties and property losses. Relying on the left line tunnel portal segment of the Xiaoshicun Tunnel, the dynamic response analysis were conducted by FEM. The response patterns of stressand displacement of the tunnel structure were respectively studied both under the single horizontal earthquake action and the interaction of horizontal and vertical earthquake actions. The results indicated that the difference of seismic response in diffrent parts of tunnel linging was obvious, the response under both horizontal and vertical earthquake action was bigger than that under single horizontal motion.
In this paper, based on the bidirectional B-spline QR method (BB-sQRM), the mechanical properties of the shear-wall with opening were studied. The cubic B-spline function (CB-sF) was used to construct the basis function of the BB-sQRM for its good properties. The new computational scheme of the BB-sQRM for structural analysis was established with quadrilateral element. Numerical example was given to illustrate the validity of the proposed algorithm for the shear-wall with opening. The reliability of the proposed algorithm was verified by comparing with the results of ANSYS. The effects of the opening size on lateral displacement and stress of the shear-wall with opening were discussed. The numerical results show that, square hole and rectangular vertical hole are more conducive to bearing capacity of the shear-wall with opening.
