Accurate acquisition of transmission line parameters is the basis for grid condition monitoring and data analysis, which is of great significance for the safe and economic operation of the grid. With the widespread use of phasor measurement unit (PMU) technology, the wideband information in the grid can be exploited, which broadens the new direction for line parameter identification. In this paper, a method is proposed to identify line frequency parameters based on wideband information. A mathematical model for line parameter identification with wideband information is established, and the identification of line frequency parameters is achieved by iterative solution through least squares. The results show that the accuracy of the parameter identification is improved by adding wideband information, and the identification of industrial frequency parameters for lightly loaded lines can be achieved. Finally, the feasibility and correctness of the method is verified by simulation.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
