Plant essential oil is found to possess many bene icial effects in the ield of medicine. Especially essential oil derived from different species of plants is reported to have speci ic activity against cancer. Artemesiaannua is an annual herb belonging to Asteraceae family has been traditionally used for treating several ailments. It is a conventional medicinal plant used in the treatment of chloroquine-resistant and cerebral malaria. The major aim of this study was to evaluate the anticancer potential of this plant against cancer cell line. HydrodistilledHydro distilled volatile oil obtained from aerial parts of A.annua was analysed by GCMS. The majority of the compounds derived from essential oil of Artemesiaannua are monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes. Artemisinin, the active component of Artemesiaannua is a sesquiterpenoid lactone containing unusual endoperoxide bridge that shows remarkable activity against numerous tumortumour growth and metastases. The pleiotropic nature of artemisinin induces oxidative stress, anti-angiogenetic effect and apoptosis triggering on cancer cells. The anti-proliferative effect of essential oil derived from Artemesiaannua on human cancer cell lines like MCF-7, HT29 and AGS was done by MTT assay. Results shows the essential oil of artemisia annua have cytotoxic potential by inhibiting cell growth in a dose dependent manner. .However, further investigations in isolating active cytotoxic components and understanding its molecular mechanisms will help in therapeutic management of cancer.
Today’s education system has brought much advancement in using digital tools to reach the students learning and understanding in simple method of representation. In this global pandemic situation, most of the educational institutions all around the globe have switched over to digital mode of operation that is remote based learning approach. In conventional system of education, students have faced lot of pressures in listening to the normal mode of class room teaching during direct interaction, but online or remote based education learning has given some pace and flexibility to visualize the concepts as well as process much better than normal black board teaching style. Through digital mode, we can able to improve much better in presenting the concepts through video simulation in lesser time span, where as in old or traditional method of education, teacher has to put more effort in teaching the concepts to students. But today’s students are less attentive in nature. They can only able to see visually through graphics only, because that kind of education students prefer. In this paper, an attempt has been made to conduct survey through forms by collecting opinions from various respondents within the educational institutes in India. Based on the responses, business framework model is developed to implement in the real system.
