Triton X-100 extracted brain AChE and ChAc molecular forms of normal and hypertensive rats were studied during pre- and postnatal development. AChE of the brain could be separated into 4, ChAc into 3 molecular forms. Activities of both AChE and ChAc forms were increased with age. In hypertension some molecular forms of AChE and ChAc were much more affected than others. These findings suggest that different molecular forms of each enzyme may have different physiological roles.

Myxomy jsou nejčastějšími nádory v srdci; vyskytují se většinou v levé síni; jejich přítomnost je však často zjištěna opožděně. V této kazuistice popisujeme případ pacienta léčeného po dobu čtyř let pro asthma bronchiale, dokud nebyla stanovena konečná diagnóza myxomu a zahájena odpovídající léčba.
