Abstract|Experimental Results of the Y-junction microstrip circulator with a ferrite sphere have been reported in the literature. In this paper, the nite di¬erence time domain (FDTD) method is used to analyze this kind of circulator. Comparisons between the experimental results and our numerical results con rm the validity of our program. The pro les of the power-density ®ow inside the ferrite sphere are given and the e¬ects of circulator parameters on circulation characteristics are investigated to further understand the performance of the circulator with a ferrite sphere.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
