The article highlights the urgency of the educational paradigm problem concerning the practical formation of the competences of contemporary student youth in the educational space of the university, the content of the concepts of "competence", "competence approach" as the necessary condition for the education of a highly culturally competent personality is outlined. The newest philosophy of education in the context of the Concept of the New Ukrainian School directs the educational process towards the formation of the individual, the affirmation of universal values, the development of potential opportunities and talents of student youth, and ensuring optimal conditions for their self-realization. This allows us to express the assumption that under current conditions a pressing issue of the educational paradigm is the formation of competences of student youth based on value-orientations, which will contribute to the formation of creative, active, gifted, intellectually and spiritually developed citizens of Ukraine capable of providing a new system of social relations and values. The essence and content of the competent approach determine values, since the formation of value orientations is the main goal and objectives of education of the individual in the educational space of the university. All this will allow university to conduct the educational process qualitatively.
The article highlights the issues of professional training of future educators using innovative pedagogical approaches, as well as the formation of inclusive competency as part of professional competency. The authors present the views of scholars on such terms as “inclusive education”, “inclusive culture”, “inclusive values”, and “value-based orientations” and demonstrate the importance for teaching staff of basic knowledge and methods of working with children with special educational needs. The article highlights the effectiveness of inclusive education in the training and retraining of teachers, where the formation of inclusive values is one of the objectives. The creation of an inclusive culture in higher education institutions ensures the existence of a safe democratic society that shares the ideas of cooperation and the value of each person in common achievements. This kind of university culture creates shared inclusive values and principles that are common for all faculty and students.
The article defines the concept and specifics of the phenomenon of professionalization of activities. The features of professionalization of the activity of a teacher of vocational training are characterized. The possibilities of professional competence as a way of solving the problem of professionalization of the teacher's activity have been determined, criterion characteristics determined, on the one hand, by the level of professionalism of the teacher's personality, on the other hand, themselves act as determinants of efficiency in achieving acme and self-realization.
