Social workers can mediate in the agricultural process on two crucial levels-first, it can familiarize the local people with the new technologies, information, training, available subsidies, and facilities either by the state or by institutions and organizations, secondly, it can use firsthand knowledge of the condition of the farmers to understand the need of the hour and convey the same to the policymakers. We have seen how many farmer's agitations and movements have been successfully organized in our country on a large scale, but still, two major lacunae in this whole process have limited the impact of these movements on a much greater scale-one, there is a dearth of larger social consciousness among the masses regarding the problem of farmers in general and these movements in specific. Social workers need to take this burden on their heads to ensure that not only the information is disseminated smoothly and effectively but also a larger audience can be built who not only can be aware of the condition of farmers but can also empathize with it, thus providing the base of mobilization of these groups for future causes.
Library service through mobile technology is a recent trend in library service. Mobile technology and its development have given rise to the excitement of faculty and student fraternity. This type of infrastructure needed by libraries to provide such services. The awareness about technologies like Mobile based services, Augmented Reality, Gamification, Internet of Things applications. The method opted for the study is descriptive and the tool used for collecting information is web survey. Literature related to emerging trends in libraries was collected from similar projects and other related articles from web. The project was started by analysing the technological developments in various libraries, kinds and new trends that emerged recently. Relevant data regarding the topic is also collected from scholarly publications and online databases to review the benefits, usage and the importance of emerging technology trends in libraries. This topic deals with new developments and techniques that are evolving in libraries. Some of the new trends are identified in this work. The limitation of the study is that, as many innovations are being introduced and also developed, only a selected number of technologies are included in the study.
Farming systems research (FSR) is important for addressing the aforementioned concerns. FSR uses a comprehensive approach to capture farm family behaviour in reaction to and interacting with its biophysical and socioeconomic settings as a technique. FSR is a method of creating suitable technologies in conjunction with farmers that is classified as action research. The purpose of this study is to introduce the distinctive qualities of Nepalese agriculture as well as the country's FSR evolution. First, clarify the characteristics of the diverse farming systems by agro-ecological region, then examines the constraints and potentials for each region based on previous studies. The second part of the paper deals with research system, tracing the evolution and development of Nepal’s FSR, assessing the achievements. Finally, the paper concludes with identifying the constraints and future agenda for further development of FSR efforts in the country.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
