Nutrisi AB Mix mengandung unsur hara makro dan mikro yang penting untuk memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi pada pertumbuhan tanaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian nutrisi AB Mix (konsentrasi 1000 ppm dan 600 ppm) terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman sawi pakcoy (Brassica rafa L) dan Selada hijau (Lactuva sativa L) secara hidroponik. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Aceh Hidroponik desa Medang Ara kecamatan Karang Baru kabupaten Aceh Tamiang. Metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 ulangan digunakan pada penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pemberian nutrisi AB Mix berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan sawi pakcoy dan selada hijau pada kosenterasi 1000 ppm.
Abstract. Ramaidani, Navia ZI. 2022. Documentation of the traditional Gayo food in Lokop Village, East Aceh, Indonesia. Biodiversitas 23: 2017-2024. The Gayo Tribe community in Lokop Village, Serbajadi Sub-district, East Aceh, Indonesia, has known the traditional use of plants to meet food needs for a long time. However, this knowledge has not been widely documented. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a study to document the typical food of the Gayo Tribe in Lokop Village, Serbajadi Sub-district, East Aceh, Indonesia. This study was conducted using the Snowball sampling method and semi-structured interviews involving 37 respondents. A total of 14 types of traditional Gayo food were documented, namely Cecah bajik, Cecah kekulit, Cecah ries, Jurung pengat, Masam jing, Apam, Berteh, Brahrum, Gutal, Lepat, Pulut berkerabu, Pulut manis, Pulut semplah, and Tumpi. In contrast, 52 plant species belonging to 46 genera and 31 families were used in traditional Gayo food. The most widely used family was Zingiberaceae with 5 species, the most widely used growth form was herb at 39%, and the most widely used plant parts were leaves and fruit, with 21% each. The frequency of using plants as the food was 100% for the species of Diplazium esculentum (Retz.) Sw. and Colocasia esculenta (L) Schott. The Gayo Tribe uses plants in their traditional food to contribute to economic value, health maintenance, and conservation efforts.
Penelitian ini telah bertujuan menginventarisasi dan mengidentifikasi jenis fauna pada Hutan Lindung Kota Langsa yang bertujuan sebagai ekowisata. Penelitian menggunakan metode observasi jelajah yaitu melakukan pengamatan langsung ke lokasi penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat 21 spesies fauna yang terdapat di Hutan Lindung kota Langsa. Dari 21 spesies fauna yang paling banyak dilindungi di penangkaran tersebut adalah dari ordo Acciptriformes sebanyak 4 spesies, ordo Artiodactyla sebanyak 2 Spesies, dan ordo Columbiformes sebanyak 2 spesies. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi awal tentang keanekaraagaman fauna di kawasan Hutan Lindung Kota Langsa
The development of hand sanitizers from a combination of mangrove leaves and patchouli oil has not yet developed in the world and Indonesia, though these two natural ingredients have antibacterial activity as a substitute for alcohol. It is known that many alcohol-based hand sanitizers can cause burning, irritation, dry skin, and cannot be used on wound skin. The purpose of this study was to develop an innovative hand sanitizer in the form of a gel from a combination of mangrove leaves extract and patchouli oil from Aceh. The samples of mangroves (Avicennia) leaves and Patchouli oil were collected from the Kuala Langsa Mangrove Forest and patchouli farmers in South Aceh. Staphylococcous aereus bacteria were obtained from the Laboratory of Universitas Sumatera Utara. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with three replications for the gel formulation. The study prepared four formulations namely K (-) as control without mangrove extract and patchouli oil, F-I contained 1g mangrove extract and 10mL patchouli oil, F-II contained 5g mangrove extract and 20mL patchouli oil, and F-III contained 10g mangrove extract and 30mL patchouli oil. Gel hand sanitizer formulations were test for antibacterial active using diffusion method against S. aereus. The data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA. The results of the gel hand sanitizer formulation showed inhibitory effect against S. aereus with the diameter zones of 12.6 mm, 21.33 mm, 19.61 mm and 25 mm for negative control, F-I, F-II, and F-III. The F-III formulation was found as the maximum formula to inhibit the growth of S. aereus.
Paya Udang merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di kecamatan Seruway kabupaten Aceh Tamiang, Propinsi Aceh. Karena kurangnya pemahaman terkait manajemen kelompok masyarakat dalam penglolaan budidaya ikan air tawar di desa Paya Udang maka perlu dilakukan pelatihan menajemen kelompok. Tujuan dari kegiatan pelatiahan ini adalah untuk membantu masyarakat desa Paya Udang dalam membentuk kelompok budidaya ikan air tawar di desa Paya Udang dan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat di desa Paya Udang pentingnya membentuk usaha dengan melibatkan kelompok. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di desa Paya Udang, Kecamtan Seruway, Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang dengan melibatkan 20 orang peserta. Metode yang digunakan berupa pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) dan Community development. Hasil dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah terbentuknya kelompok budidaya ikan nila di desa Paya Udang Kecamatan Seruwai Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang yang dikoordinir langsung oleh ketua BUMK desa.
