Abstract— The learning process in vocational high schools is the decisive factor for being able to give birth to vocational secondary education graduates that are in accordance with their competencies. The learning process will determine whether the learning goals will be achieved. This study aims to develop a project-based learning device on the subject of Local Network Devices Installation. The method used is the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) with processed data sourced from 2 teachers and 29 students. The result of this study is practical that a value of 77.87%. It is concluded that this model is very helpful in learning Local Network Device Installation and as a reference model for other subjects.
Blended learning in this study combined face-to-face online learning and independent learning such as interactive media and zoom meeting application. This study aims to obtain the comparison of implementation blended learning in improving 4C abilities (critical thinking, creative, communication, and collaboration) system information students in English debate activity before and after the treatment. Furthermore, preliminary data from the subjects of this study before blended learning treatment showed an average value of < 55, and this value was categorized as “less”. Therefore, this research is a type of quantitative research using pre-experimental research method. The data were calculated by using SPSS. Research results indicated an increase in the students’ 4C abilities after implementing the blended learning model. The average increase of creativity was 43.79%, with an estimated increase is 39.89%. Critical thinking was 45.08%, with an estimate of 47.78%. Collaboration had 38.26%, with an estimate of 43.03%. At the same time, communication reached 38.32% with an estimation of 43.40%. Based on these results, the highest 4C increase was in critical thinking abilities compared to other abilities.
Human Resources (HR) is the most important element in government agencies whose job is to move and realize the vision and mission of government organizations. The achievement of a good level of HR performance cannot be separated from the high level of employee job satisfaction with their work in an organization. An employee's performance is influenced by the level of employee job satisfaction in the organization where he works. This study aims to determine how much influence self-efficacy and perceived organizational support have on employee job satisfaction with work engagement as an intervening variable at the education and culture department of the south coast district. The method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.0. By distributing questionnaires as many as 55 respondents. The results of data analysis concluded that there was a significant positive effect between the self-efficacy variables on the work engagement variable. There is a positive and significant effect between perceived organizational support variables on the work engagement variable. There is a positive insignificant effect between the self-efficacy variables on the job satisfaction variable. There is a positive and significant effect between perceived organizational support variables on job satisfaction variables. There is a significant negative effect between work engagement variables on job satisfaction variables. There is a positive and significant influence between the self-efficacy variables on job satisfaction through work engagement. There is a positive and significant effect between perceived organizational support variables on job satisfaction through work engagement.
Purpose of this study is to describe the difficulty level of information system students in communicating English. This study was descriptive quantitative research. The subjects in this study were 100 of second semester information system students and students who repeated (30 people) in 2017/2018 at STMIK Indonesia Padang. The study instrument used was a questionnaires and it were distributed to all research subjects. The processing of questionnaire data used the construct validity test which was supported by the SPSS application. The results of the data analysis of the study shows that the difficulty level of information systems students in communication is categorized at a fairly problematic level with an percentage index of 69%. Therefore, the results of this study can be used as a reference for lecturers in designing learning modules and syllabus that matches with the level of students’ ability so that they will be categorized as students who are able to compete in the industrial era 4.0.
Penentuan penerima beasiswa bidikmisi dibutuhkan beberapa kriteria yang harus diperhatikan, yaitu nilai rapor, penghasilan orang tua, jumlah saudara, tanggungan orang tua, nilai ujian nasional. Banyaknya kriteria yang ada membuat pihak akademik sulit dalam menentukan penerima beasiswa bidikmisi. Untuk itu dibangunlah sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan untuk menentukan penerima beasiswa bidikmisi menggunakan metode analytical hierarchy process yang bertujuan menentukan penerima beasiswa yang sesuai. Pada sistem ini dibutuhkan data mahasiswa dan kemudian data tersebut diproses dengan menggunakan AHP hingga memperoleh output berupa ranking dari penerima beasiswa yang sudah di input kan. Sistem yang akan dibuat menghasilkan ranking teratas penerimaan beasiswa bidikmisi. Metode ini dipilih karena mampu menyeleksi alternatif terbaik dari sejumlah alternatif, dalam hal ini alternatif yang dimaksudkan yaitu yang berhak menerima beasiswa berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang ditentukan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mencari nilai bobot untuk setiap atribut, kemudian dilakukan proses pengurutan kandidat yang akan menentukan alternatif yang optimal, yaitu mahasiswa terbaik.
