Introduction: Biochemical parameters (urea, creatinine, uric acid, T3, T4, TSH) important inprognosis, monitoring of thyroid dysfunction, and chronic kidney disease. The present study wasattempted to analyze these parameters in CKD patients and a healthy control group. Materials andmethods: Fifty healthy control and 5o were chronic kidney disease subjects were taken serum urea,creatinine uric acid analyzed on the auto analyzer and T3, T4, TSH estimated on immunoassayanalyzer. Ethical permission was taken from the institutional ethical committee. Results: Level ofurea, creatinine, uric acid, and thyroid hormone T3, T4, TSH were found to be significant in thepresent study when compared with the control group. (Þ<0.0001). Conclusion: It was observedthat levels of urea, creatinine, uric acid, and T3, T4, TSH deranged value found in chronic kidneydisease subjects.
Background: Association of hypothyroidism and cardiovascular diseases are important in development of Atherosclerosis. Hypothyroidism and sub clinical hypothyroidism reported highly risk factors due to lipid levels dearranged. Present study to demonstre of correlation of hypothyroidism and cardiovascular disease.Methods: The present study has carried out in the department of medicine and Biochemistry SRG Hospital and associated hospital, Jhalawar Medical College Jhalawar (Raj.) Total 100 Hypothyroidism cases and 100 euthyroidism subject were included in the study Information regarding clinical history were recorded in self Constructed present questionnaires Patients were examined and estimated TSH, T3, T4 total Cholesterol, LDLc, HDCc, TG data were analyzed by SPPS version 20.0.Results: Present study demonstrated increased levels of total cholesterol, LDH, VLDLC and TG and decreased level of HDLC and increased TSH level and decreased T3 and T4 Level in hypothyroidism cases when compared with euthyroid cases It was found significant.Conclusions: In present study hypothyroidism and hormone Level (TSH, T3, T4) and lipid level dearranged values are associated with development cardiovascular disease atherosclerosis.
Background: Levels of thyroxin hormone along with T3, TSH and other markers such as uric acid, bilirubin and glucose are important in diagnosis and medical management of diabetes mellitus and thyroid disorder. Relationship between these parameters are important in both diabetes mellitus and Thyroid gland disease, as both disorders are increasing very fast in Indian population. Present study aimed to analyzed T3, T4, TSH, uric acid and bilirubin in Haroti Region of Jhalawar, Rajasthan in diabetic and non diabetic subjects.Methods: One hundred diabetes mellitus subjects and 100 healthy control subjects were analyzed for determination of thyroxin, T3, TSH, uric acid and bilirubin by commercial kit method.Results: One hundred subjects of diabetes mellitus between age 30-60 years male and female were analyzed. It was observed significantly T3 <0.001 T4 <0.001 TSH <0.001 bilirubin <0.01 in diabetic subjects and found to be significant when compared in both groups. However, uric acid level insignificant in both patients and control groups.Conclusions:This study demonstrated that thyroxin hormone with T3, TSH and bilirubin and uric acid, are important parameters and their values are significant when compared with healthy subjects in diabetes mellitus and thyroid disorder.
