This article attempts to discuss how WTO dispute settlement system address the case number DS475 -Measures on the Importation of Live Pigs, Pork and Other Pig Products from the European Union. Adopting the content analysis method, the authors stand for the European Union where it is thought that the policy of Russia applying the import ban on pork products of EU is such a blunder and might not bring benefit at all for both parties. The findings indicate that the embargo policy to Russia could generate a negative impact on the EU countries, especially for those who become key players in the industry.
