The events caused by the COVID-19 pandemic forced educators to transition to a fully online education system. Therefore, the implementation of project-based learning (PBL) in education is not an easy task. However, since PBL offers students many learning benefits, the aim of this paper is to conduct a bibliometric analysis to measure the performance of using PBL in engineering courses. Two computer tools have been used to carry out the analysis: a) Scopus as a performance analysis tool and b) SciMAT to carry out the bibliometric analysis of content from scientific maps. The results show that the topic with the highest performance for the period 2000-2015 corresponds to the topic of engineering educators, with a h-index of 19, 157 linked articles and, 4815 citations. However, the transition to digital teaching is shown in the period 2016-2021, where e-learning systems represent a cross-cutting theme in the field of research. Therefore, the close relationship of the PBL methodology with engineering educators and the transition to virtual education is shown. However, it requires the integration of e-learning platforms. This is closely related to the driving topics shown in the strategic map for the 2016-2021 period, such as: ensuring the quality of teamwork; properly monitor learning experiences; enhance the focus on engineering design; and work on planning the design of the curriculum, to involve all the activities and evaluations of the educational goals.
This scientific article focuses on the progress of research management in the context of pandemic due to the Sars-Cov2 virus between 2021 and 2022. It shows the problems encountered with respect to research training and scientific production of the research centers of the National University of Callao. The experimental group consisted of 15 centers. The method followed in the research was based on a series of 4 stages, the analysis of the reality of research centers, from which two variables were obtained: Scientific production (X2) and Levels of knowledge in research (X1). Secondly, the choice of agile methodology, which explains why the choice of Scrum. In the third phase design and implementation of platform based on Scrum. After the implementation, the results obtained through an evaluation of the trial period were favorable compared to the initial measurement, concluding that the proposed management increased not only the level of training by the research centers.
The present investigation "virtual learning and coping with stress in university students in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic", the objective of this investigation is to determine the relationship of the virtual environment of learning and coping with stress. It is a non-experimental quantitative investigation of correlational level with a sample of 233 students, for these questionnaires were used for data collection. The hypothesis could be tested and the non-parametric chi-square statistics andSpearman's correlation were used. Finally, it was concluded that there is a direct relationship between the virtual learning environment variables and coping with stress. These results are important for making decisions regarding the application of teaching strategies that must be adapted to this context.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
