Resumo:O artigo recupera elementos fundamentais do movimento de crítica da ideologia que se instaurou no interior da psicologia escolar brasileira a partir dos anos 80 e sugere uma refl exão sobre os desafi os que se impõem ao pensamento crítico na atualidade, visando o âmbito da formação de psicólogos. Para isso, oferece como operador de leitura desses desafi os o conceito de racionalidade cínica -discutido principalmente por autores da fi losofi a (Žižek, 1989;Sloterdijk, 2003;Safatle, 2008) -que trata de um novo modo de funcionamento ideológico no capitalismo tardio, caracterizado pela justifi cação resignada da realidade, e não somente pelos mecanismos de alienação em relação aos quais se dirigiu a crítica no decorrer da história. Conclui-se pela necessidade de manutenção do debate acerca das armadilhas que favorecem a permanência do discurso ideológico e pelo valor da atitude crítica necessária à psicologia escolar, remetendo-a aos problemas de seu tempo e lugar. School Psychology: the challenge of criticism in cynicism times AbstractIn this article we propose to recover key elements of the critical movement against ideology that was restored in Brazilian school psychology from the 80's and suggests a refl ection about new challenges that are placed to the critical thought in the present time, considering psychologist's graduation scope. We offer the concept of cynical rationality as a reading operator for these challenges Authors such as Žižek, 1989;Sloterdijk, (2003);Safatle, ( 2008), are important as they deal with a new way of ideological functioning in late capitalism. This , we argue is characterized by a resigned justifi cation of reality, not only by mechanisms of alienation in relation with the historically directed critical thought . We draw a conclusion that it is necessary to keep a discussion about the traps that favor the permanence critique of ideological discourse and a critical attitude in school psychology, paying attention to its problems to its specifi c time and place.
