ÖzetKarasu Nehri (Erzincan)'nin zooplanktonunu belirlemek amacıyla Şubat 2012 ve Ocak 2013 tarihleri arasında mevsimsel olarak alınan örnekler incelenmiştir. Zooplankton örnekleri plankton ağı kullanılarak 3 istasyon'dan alındı. Çalışmamızda Rotiferadan 32, Cladoceradan 5 ve Copepodadan 2 olmak üzere toplam 39 zooplankton türü teşhis edilmiştir. Zooplankton of Karasu River (Erzincan) AbstractKarasu River (Erzincan) zooplankton was examined from seasonal taken samples between February 2012 and January 2013. Zooplankton samples were taken from 3 stations by use of a plankton net.Totaly 39 species including, 32 species from Rotifera, 5 species Cladocera and 2 species Copepoda were identified in our this study. The study has got an importance as to be the first study on zooplankton in Karasu River
In the zooplankton samples taken between April 2017-March 2018 in Uzuncayır Dam Lake, a total of 36 species, 28 species from Rotifera, 5 species from Cladocera and 3 species from Copepoda, were recorded. Asplanchna priodonta, Synchaeta oblonga, Synchaeta pectinata, Polyarthra dolichoptera are the most recorded species. Some water quality parameters have been measured. The results showed that the water temperature in Uzuncayır Dam Lake was 3.8-27.10 0 C, pH 8.1-9.6, dissolved oxygen 6.4-14.2 mg / L, electrical conductivity 223-422 (μS / cm) and the secchi depth changed to the highest 5.5 m.
This study was conducted in order to reveal the physico-chemical properties of the Karkamis Dam Lake located within the boundaries of Sanliurfa and Gaziantep, water samples were taken from 5 stations at 4 and 8 m depths between January and December 2015. Temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, electrical conductivity, ammonium nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, ortho phosphate, phosphorus, total nitrogen and total phosphorus values of water were measured during the year. The detected values were found as temperature (14.3-21.6°C average: 9.4), pH (8.4-9.1-7.8), dissolved oxygen (9-10-11.8 mg L-1), electrical conductivity (251-332-412 ,00S cm-1) ammonium nitrogen (0,003-0,069-0,194 mg L-1), nitrate nitrogen (1,549-2,292-3,473 mg N L-1), nitrite nitrogen (0.001-0.006-0.053 mg L-1), ortho phosphate phosphorus (0.007-0.034-0.076 mg L-1), total nitrogen (0.722-1.1514-1.696 mg L-1), total phosphorus (0.007-0.016-0.026 mg L-1). The Karkamis Dam Lake has a Class I high quality water class according to the Quality Criteria for Inland Water Resources Classification according to the Surface Water Quality Management Regulation.
The study finalize that Birecik reservoir which was declared to be a threat to the water quality should be arrested at denitrification and nutrient control to halt the degradation of the water.
This study was carried out to determine the meat yield of tigris bream (Acanthobrama marmid) caught in Karakaya dam lake. In this study, 51 A. marmid were used and these fishes were found to be 22.45 ± 15.02 cm in length and 145.69 ± 28.87 g in weight. Analysis of meat yield was based on the calculation of the ratio between the body weight and the weight of organs, body parts e.g. head, fins, and internal organs. In present study age composition, sexual ratio, age-length, age-weight, length-weight relationship and meat yield of A. marmid were determined. The weight rate of viscera, head, fins, skin, carcass of A.marmid according to total weight were calculated as 14.79%, 14.49% , 2.38%, 11.59% ve 57.92% respectively.
