Covid-19 as a new disease is rapidly spreading worldwide, including in Indonesia. The government immediately took steps to suppress it through: the phase of staying at home, large-scale social restrictions, and the new normal phase. This condition impacts the learning structure in schools by imposing learning from home and limiting 50% of students entering school in rotation. This study aims to determine the readiness of educational infrastructure to adapt to the new normal of social distancing and circulation. The qualitative deductive research method is used to compare the measured data with standardization, analyze spatial configurations, and end with design solutions. Manual Drawing Studio and Digital Studio were chosen because they represent the characteristics of the Vocational High School (SMK) Building Program. The results showed that several indicators did not meet the guidelines for implementing learning after the Covid-19 pandemic: air temperature, noise, and lighting conditions. For this reason, it is necessary to add openings and modify the room configuration as a solution related to the effective use of the room by 40.84% with a distance between chairs of 1.5 meters, using barriers between chairs to block droplets between students and lecturers in the room. For circulation, signage for entry and exit is given, so they do not cross paths. According to new normal conditions, the optimal design studio is expected to achieve comfort and improve the quality of learning while supporting the program to break the chain of the Covid-19 virus.
Pedestrian is part of urban elements that have a significant role in forming a city. In the pedestrian, social interactions will be created which further strengthen relations between elements in the city. Cities in Europe are the best examples of city pedestrian planning. There walking is more comfortable and enjoyable, with the city being created by the streetscape and the humanist city order. Whereas in cities in developing countries like Jakarta, the city planning has not accommodated pedestrians at all. The design of the city of Jakarta which is not humanist seems to urge pedestrians and force everyone to ride a car. The pedestrian paths provided are always side by side with the road and the volume is insufficient for those who pass it. It can be concluded that the existing pedestrian conditions are unsafe and very uncomfortable. Examples of such cases can be seen along Jalan Sudirman and M.H. Thamrin which has always been the icon of the Jakarta office area. Where along these linear and continuous paths, pedestrians are forced to walk unprotected and face the pollution produced by vehicles. The lack of good pedestrian planning in this area has resulted in pedestrians preferring to use vehicles. Finally, each person is increasingly individualistic because there is no social interaction and the realization of a city that is not humanist too.
The purpose of this study was to determine the level of technological literacy of Vocational High School students. Technology literacy is a way of thinking about how technology can become a tool that can be used as a problem-solving solution. Aspects that become the benchmark also scale of technological literacy used refer to the Standards for Technological Literacy consists of: (1) understanding of technological traits, (2) understanding of technology and society, (3) understanding of design or a design plan, (4) abilities and understanding in the world of technology, and (5) understanding and knowledge about the world of design. The results showed the level of technological literacy of Vocational High School students was 79.9% which was included in the high category. The level of technological literacy for each aspect is: (1) understanding of the technological characteristics of 79.6% including high state categories, (2) understanding of technology and society by 71.1% including in the high state category, (3) understanding of design or a model design of 79.8% is included in the high state category, (4) the abilities possessed in the world of technology are 88.6% including very high state categories, and (5) understanding of the design world is 80.6% including very high state in categories.
Indonesia has a lot of potential for nature tourism in the form of mountains, sea, and beaches. This is also an attraction for tourists to make Indonesia as the preferred natural tourist destination when on vacation. Especially West Java, West Java is one of the provinces that are in great demand by local and outside tourists.Besides being famous for its local culture and its unique culinary variety, West Java is also known for its cool air, especially in some parts that are still preserved in nature, the natural potential that is still good and is maintained as an attraction for West Java to attract tourists. One of the famous areas in the city of Bandung which is a tourist destination is the Lembang Region. From the last five years the lodging area in Lembang has increased, currently in Lembang sub-district itself has 13 lodging units in the form of resorts. The amount itself is influenced by the high demand for lodging accommodation especially when the holiday season arrives. But of that number, resorts that have complete and well-maintained facilities and conditions are still not completely even. Based on this fact, the purpose of designing this resort is expected to be the best tourist area in the region to be able to adjust to the conditions of the land conditions, be able to use and not damage the existing land on the design land. The study used in this design is based on the description that occurs today with the support of the literature that supports the theory and analysis that is done. Implementation analysis was carried out using macro and microanalysis methods. Macro analysis is an analysis on a regional scale. While microanalysis is an analysis of the design site, which includes activity analysis, function analysis, space analysis, site analysis, shape analysis, and display and structural analysis and utility. The concept of site and building in this design will produce a conceptual relationship that will later become a guideline in making a design. This concept includes the proposed concept of site design, form, structure, and utility.
