Many sources of raw materials which allegedly can enrich the nutrient content in the organic fertilizer. The weakness of organic fertilizer for this is the low level of nutrients contained in them. This study aims to determine the nutrient content contained in various combinations of organic fertilizer raw materials with rabbit animal waste as the main raw material. This study aims to determine the nutrient content in various combinations of organic fertilizer raw materials with rabbit animal waste as the main raw material. The experiment used a completely randomized design with raw materials as treatments, Livestock Waste Rabbit (LTK), Cow Manure (PKS) and Abu Straw Rice (AJP). Such treatment: B1 = LTK; B2 = LTK: PKS = 2: 1; B3 = LTK: AJP = 3: 1; B4 = LTK: PKS: AJP = 6: 2: 1; B5 = LTK: PKS: AJP = 5: 2: 1; B6 = LTK: PKS: AJP = 4: 2: 1; B7 = LTK: PKS: AJP = 3: 2: 1; B8 = LTK: PKS: AJP = 2: 2: 1; B9 = LTK: PKS: AJP = 1: 2: 1. The research concluded (a) Organic fertilizers are made from various materials raw has fulfilled SNI 19-7030-2004 about the specifications of Organic Waste Compost. (B) A combination of organic fertilizer raw materials significantly affect the nutrient content of manure. (C) Organic fertilizers expectations are: (a) Raw materials of animal wastes rabbit (LTK), (b) LTK: PKS: AJP = 6: 2: 1, (c) LTK: PKS: AJP = 2: 2: 1 and (d) LTK: PKS: AJP = 1: 2: 1.
A series of studies had been carried out to create new types of herbicides. The studies had found six formulations ofherbicides. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of herbicides formulation in controlling aquatic weeds. Theexperiment used a randomized complete block design with seven herbicide formulations as treatments and three replications. The seven formulations of herbicide were: Unihaz 1, Unihaz 2, Unihaz 3, Unihaz 4, Unihaz 5, Unihaz 6, and a control(glyphosate 2 kg ha-1). The results of the study found that there were 21 species of weed in rainfed swamps, ten species inbrackish swamps and one species namely water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) in drainage channel. Herbicide formulationsof Unihaz 3, 4, 5, and 6 were effective in controlling aquatic weeds in rainfed swamps. Herbicide formulations of Unihaz 2, 3and 5 were effective in controlling aquatic weeds in brackish swamps. All herbicides formulations were effective in controllingweeds in drainage channels. Moreover, herbicide formulation of Unihaz 5 was more effective in controlling aquatic weeds inrainfed swamps, brackish swamps and drainage channels than other formulations, and it was not significantly different fromthe use of a glyphosate dose of 2 kg ha-1.Keywords: Eichhornia crassipes, fermented coconut water, organic herbicide, new types of herbicides
This research aimed to determine the effect of media composition leather waste coffea bokashi fertilizer on the growth of coffee seedlings in the nursery playing robusta nursery and determine the best composition that can replace the use of chemical fertilizer in the coffee nursery. This research was conducted in vilage Tugu Rejo subdistrict Kabawetan Kepahiang district Bengkulu province. This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) of the factors with 6 (six) treatment that the composition of the growing media bokashi (P). Each composition treatment was repeated four (4) times, in order to obtain 24 units of trial. Each experimental unit there are five (5) polybags, so there are 120 polybags. Each experimental unit was taken three (3) samples. These result indicate that treatment of bokashi fertilizer media leather waste coffe very significant effect on the dry weight of coffee seedlings, significant effect on plant height and weight of the wet, and no real effect on the number of leaves and stem diameter. Effect of medium composition leather waste coffe bokashi fertilizer best demonstarted high value crops 13.63 cm, wet weight of 1.82 g and 0.60 g dry weight. The use of leather waste coffee bokashi fertilizer is able to substitute inorganic fertilizer on seedling nursery play. The use of media with the composition of the piece of land sub soil mixed with four parts bokashi leather waste robusta coffee in the coffee nursery on the main nursery gives good results.
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of biological herbicide formulas on smallholder coffee plantations in various agro-ecological conditions, namely smallholder coffee fields in the medium plains and plateau. The study concluded that the weeds found in the medium plains coffee fields were 17 species. The dominant weeds were Cynodon dactilon 38.1%, Asystasia gangetica 19.3%, Ageratum conyzoides 10%, Borreria latifolia 5.4%, Acmella paniculata 3.3%, and Clydemia hirta 3.3%. These six types of weeds dominate the land at 79.4%. Meanwhile, in the plateau, there were 20 types of weeds. The dominant weeds were
