Dental and oral health education provided through counseling, you should use one of the various types of counseling methods available to facilitate the acceptance of information. The media presenters of counseling materials in learning dental and oral health are needed. One of the learning media in dental and oral health education is counseling using crossword media as an alternative that can be used as an extension media. Media crossword puzzle is a game media that can be used as an extension media in dental and oral health education and can attract the interest of counseling participants. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of counseling between lecture methods by filling in crossword puzzles on the knowledge and level of dental and oral hygiene in Class VIII and VII students of Mempawah District Arraudhatul Islamiyah MTs in 2018. The population in the study was 74 people. The research sample was taken purposively with certain criteria. Group I numbered 30 people and research subjects II amounted to 30 people. The research used was quasi-experimental research with Pre-Post observation research design, Wilcoxon Signed Rannks Test statistical test to measure knowledge before and after treatment and paired t-test, to measure the level of dental and oral hygiene before and after treatment, Effectiveness Test with percent to measure the effectiveness of counseling and filling in crossword puzzles. With a measuring instrument questionnaire to measure knowledge and PHP index checks to measure the level of dental and oral hygiene. The results of the study that knowledge and level of dental and oral hygiene were both counseling with refinement and filling in crossword puzzles between before and after there were significant differences p <0.05. Counseling by filling in crosswords is more effective in increasing knowledge with an average difference of 22.0% while lecture counseling is 20.1%. The improvement of dental and oral hygiene of the crossword group was 68.2% while the lecture was 54.4%.
60.5% of the population in West Kalimantan have problems with oral health. One of them is children with special needs who are blind. Promoting media used for children with special needs is different from the media used for healthy children. Dents-Voice is a teaching aid designed for children with visual impairment as a media for counseling oral health. This device will make a sound when the button is pressed. The sound that comes out is in the form of information relating to damage to the teeth, causes and how to prevent them. This study aims to discover the effectiveness of Dents-Voice props as an educational medium in improving dental and oral health knowledge and can reduce the index debris of the blind. This research is a quasi-experimental pre and posttest without control from a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at SLBN Mempawah Hilir, Ar-Rahmah Foundation, and Al-Iqra Foundation. The population of this research was 21 people. The sample of this study used a total sampling technique. The results of the study used a Paired Sample T-Test; the average value of respondents' initial knowledge was 71.86 and after counseling it, it rose to 90.71 with a P.Value of 0,000. The average value of the respondents' initial index debris was 1.80 and after counseling it, it dropped to 1.09 with a P.Value value of 0,000. The conclusions of this study show that Dents-Voice is effective for increasing knowledge and decreasing the debris index for the blind.
Upaya meningkatkan branding adalah salah satunya dapat dilakukan melalui pemanfaatan instagram, khususnya bagi produsen kue balok brownies Ki Raden sebagai produk yang baru berdiri perlu upaya keras dalam meningkatkan branding, hal ini lah yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini dengan tema pemanfaatan instagram dalam meningkatkan branding kue balok brownies Ki Raden. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana owner dan tim manajemen Ki Raden memanfaatkan instagram sebagai media untuk meningkatkan branding. Metode penelitian ini dipaparkan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Penulis menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan observasi. Pengumpulan data melibatkan owner dan tim manajemen Ki Raden. Lokasi pengambilan data secara langsung di tempat produksi yaitu di jalan Terusan Gatot Subroto Kota Bandung. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah owner dan tim manajemen Ki Raden memanfaatkan instagram untuk meningkatkan branding dengan menjadikannya sebagai galeri portofolio mereka yang berisikan foto dan video tentang kue balok brownies Ki Raden. Selain itu juga dengan memanfaatkan fitur-fitur yang ada di instagram seperti instastory, highlight, hashtag, slide photo, dan pengaturan feeds. Disimpulkan bahwa owner dan tim manajemen Ki Raden memanfaatkan instagram untuk meningkatkan branding karena fasilitas dan fitur nya dapat membangun sebuah merek menjadi lebih dikenal luas, memiliki keunggulan sendiri dan kekhasan sebagai pembeda di antara produk serupa lainnya.
