This paper reports experimental results on chemical and mechanical properties of ester oil and kraft paper under accelerated thermal aging process. 800 ml of ester oil and 10 insulation kraft paper sheets were put together in heat-resistant bottles. All samples are conditioned to the same initial conditions through the heating at a temperature of 100 °C for 24 hours. The bottles containing oil and paper samples were then subjected to thermal aging process at 120 o C and 150 o C. Dissolved gas and tensile strength testing were conducted after aging time of 336, 672 and 1008 hours. The experimental results indicated that thermal aging process increase dissolved gas content of ester oil, also change tensile strength of kraft paper.
The purpose of this study is to analyze: 1) The development of import values, inflation, exchange rates, FDI, and Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves for the period 1996-2017. 2) The influence of Indonesia's import determinants for the 1996-2017 period. In this study, the type of data used is secondary data based on the period 1996-2017. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, namely multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate: 1) The average development of imports is 8.68% per year, the average inflation is 10.30% per year, the average development of the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar is 11.17% per year, the average development FDI is 5.66% per year, and the average development of foreign exchange reserves is 11.83% per year. 2) Simultaneously or together inflation, exchange rate, FDI, and foreign exchange reserves have a positive and significant impact on Indonesian imports. Partially, inflation has a positive and significant effect on Indonesian imports, the exchange rate has a negative and significant effect on Indonesian imports, FDI has a positive but not significant effect on Indonesian imports, and foreign exchange reserves have a positive and significant effect on Indonesian imports. Keywords: Imports, Inflation, Exchange rates, Foreign direct investment, Foreign exchange reserves
Poverty is a global social problem, meaning that poverty is a problem that must be faced and a concern of many people. This study aims to analyze the development of poverty and the determinants of poverty in Jambi Province. This study uses a secondary data analysis method, and the data used is data from the Central Statistics Agency of Jambi Province. And the data used is the times series 2002-2019. This study uses multiple regression analysis with the level of poverty as the dependent variable, inflation, GRDP, Average Years of Schooling (RLS), Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK), and Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) as independent variables, and uses a dummy variable 1 Jambi Provincial government policies related to poverty reduction through the Jamkesda Program. The results of this study indicate that the development of the poverty rate in Jambi Province for the 2002-2019 period tends to decrease and that inflation, GRDP, RLS, UMP, and Dummy 1 (Jamkesda) have an effect significantly on the poverty rate in Jambi Province in the period 2002-2019.
This study discusses the hate speech delivered by Indonesian internet citizens towards Indonesian badminton athletes on social media. This study aims to identify the types of hate speech addressed to Indonesian badminton athletes on the two social media platforms, Instagram and Twitter, and investigate whether the netizens violate the law of hate speech or not. The data are sourced from the official accounts of the Indonesian badminton federation @badminton.ina (Instagram) and @INABadminton (Twitter). The data were collected by documentation technique and then analyzed by using contextual analysis. The result of the study shows that nine comments from eight commenters contain hate speech content including insults, defamation, denigration, unpleasant action, provocation, incitement, and hoax. From the result of the study, it is proved that the commenters violate the Information of Electronic Transactions Law.
