As a result of this meeting the following letter was sent to the principal medical periodicals: "We would draw the attention of the profession to a meeting to be held at 1 Wimpole St., London, on Friday, June 9, at 2.30 p.m., when it will be proposed that a Medical Society for the Study of Venereal Diseases be formed.
