We developed reproducible guidelines to most effectively treat a variety of skin types and conditions using nonablative fractional photothermolysis. Future large, multicenter trials are indicated for further optimization of treatment parameters.
The VersaPulse variable pulse width laser appears to be an effective modality for the treatment of leg telangiectasias. The relative lack of patient discomfort combined with a high degree of patient satisfaction may indicate a fairly high level of patient acceptance of this new form of therapy for the treatment of leg telangiectasias.
LPA therapy is most effective for leg telangiectasias 0.4-3.0 mm in diameter. This LPA technique is significantly improved with the addition of sclerotherapy.
