The dream is a vital part of the biological development of all living beings, although, with the current rhythm of young people, social networks, television series, parties, etc., daily sleep hours decrease. The objective of this study is to know sleep disorders and their impact on academic performance in high school students; the subjects surveyed were 112. The quantitative methodology, descriptive cut. The average time that young people usually sleep is 12 pm (58 respondents), 28 young people sleep 8 hours, 69 sleep 6 hours and 15 of them only 4 hours a day. The majority of young people (63) have a regular average of 7 to 8.9, which may have several factors, but associating the surveys those who suffer some type of disorder or a few hours of sleep claim to have average of bad to regular. It is important to carry out intervention programs in the classroom and at the Institution to raise awareness about the importance of sleep both at the health level and at the academic level.
Motivation has been indicated as the engine for the success or failure of learning processes, although its origin continues to be a topic of permanent discussion. The objective of the present work was to know the level of motivation to study in the students of the Bachelor of Science in Security of the UMSNH. The applied methodology was quantitative and correlational with a non-experimental design. The instrument used was the Educational Motivation Scale (EME). The results show, the main intrinsic school motivations are: "I find satisfaction and I like to learn new things", followed by "I like to see that I surpass myself" and finally "it will allow me to choose a job in the branch that I like. ”. Based on the extrinsic motivations they are: "to lead a comfortable life later", "because education better prepares me to pursue a career later" and finally "Why do I think that more years of studies increase my professional preparation". Teachers have a decisive role to provide confidence to the student, be empathetic and be in constant training that allows us to teach motivating classes for our students.
The beginning of a university career is an opportunity that is given to young people when accessing higher education in Mexico, for the student it is hard work and at times it is saturated with difficulties, which manage to resist with motivation, and study habits that help students to finish the university career. The overall objective of this research is to analyze and promote habits to develop the Action Plan Tutorial of the next school year to promote activities that are in line with the interests of students. It is a cross-sectional descriptive investigation through surveys, since variables are not manipulated by naturally targeting phenomena or facts. To carry out this research, a simple sampling was carried out with second and fourth semester students of the Engineering degree in Material Innovation of the UMSNH (Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo). Description of the instrument. Study habits test, admits to appreciating and detailing study habits; which can be managed in groups and/or individual, in an average time of 15 minutes, consists of 20 items. With regard to the questioning if, do you study periodically and not just before the exam? 47% of students refer to only studying from time to time, while 32% study almost always. Environmental condition factors, study planning, material utilization, content assimilation, and sincerity of study habit scales generally show a low-to-normal moderate utilization level trend. Study habits in their different factors require improving the degree of use.
The objective of this work is to know the type of learning strategies used by the students of the Primitive and National School of San Nicolás de Hidalgo. The teachers of upper middle level mostly consider that the students learned to use these strategies the previous years, from their training. For this reason, regardless of the grade level that the teacher teaches, the teacher must make a diagnosis of what strategies they can handle that develops their learning, or teach these strategies to their students so that they can assimilate the content autonomously. It is a crosssectional, descriptive and correlational investigation. A sample was managed, made up of 378 students enrolled in the second and fourth semester of upper secondary education in the February / August 2020 school year. The research was achieved through the Assessment Questionnaire of Learning Strategies for University Students (CEVEAUPEU), instituted by Gargallo, SuárezRodríguez and Pérez-Pérez (2009). 1.9% have regular study strategies, 75.4% have good study strategies and finally 21.7% have excellent strategies. The results allow to conclude that the participants demand greater knowledge and use of the strategies of processing and use of the information EEP (grouped) related to the search, selection, processing and use of the information, so essential in this time when it exceeds the information, as a result of technological and scientific advances.
The integral formation of the university students is of great transcendence for the society, what they can count on with the best necessary tools will allow them to confront with success his professional life. The objective of the present study is to know the relation of this one with the academic performance. The type of research is quantitative. The study was carried out on 95 people, of which 65 are young students at the baccalaureate level and the rest are part of a youth basketball team. The results show that 80% of young people practice some sport, depending on the hours per week that they practice sports, 41.17% practice from 1 to 2 hours, 11.76% from 2 to 3 hours and 47.05% train 3 or more per week. On the relationship between sport and academic performance, 78.46% affirm that there is. If they consider that sport has improved their academic performance, 54% believe that this is the case. Finally, we evaluated the average of those who do not practice sports (8.7) and those who do (8.8), although the difference is not obvious, this investigation must be complemented to corroborate the information and be able to approve or discard the hypothesis raised.
