Abstract. We complete the study of the regularity for Trudinger's equation by proving that weak solutions are Hölder continuous also in the singular case. The setting is that of a measure space with a doubling non-trivial Borel measure supporting a Poincaré inequality. The proof uses the Harnack inequality and intrinsic scaling.
Abstract. We establish the local Hölder continuity for the nonnegative weak solutions of certain doubly nonlinear parabolic equations possessing a singularity in the time derivative part and a degeneracy in the principal part. The proof involves the method of intrinsic scaling and the setting is a measure space equipped with a doubling non-trivial Borel measure supporting a Poincaré inequality.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
