In this paper we present a realization of the informationbottleneck-paradigm by means of an improved counter propagation network. It combines an unsupervised vector quantizer for data compression with a subsequent supervised learning vector quantization model. In rekordverdächtigen 15 Monaten Bauzeit hat Progroup in Sandersdorf-Brehna eine High-Tech-Papierfabrik errichtet. Ihr Herzstück ist eine der modernsten und leistungsfähigsten Papiermaschinen der Welt zur Herstellung von umweltfreundlichen und hochwertigen Wellpappenrohpapieren aus 100 Prozent Altpapier. Auch das spätere Endprodukt Wellpappe lässt sich komplett wiederverwerten. Die Anlage wird über eine Jahreskapazität von 750.000 Tonnen verfügen. Das Unternehmen steigert damit seine Wellpappenrohpapierproduktion von 1,1 Millionen Tonnen auf rund 1,85 Millionen Tonnen pro Jahr.
