Background: Pre school children need adequate nutrition for growth and development, as one of the most vulnerable groups is primarily anemia. Nutritional disorders of anemia can be caused by various factors, one of which is a diet (amount, frequency and variety ) that does not meet the balance. Objective to analyze The Effect of Diet on Hemoglobin Levels In Pre-School children. Methods: Cross-sectional study was conducted on 28 chlidren. Sampling is done by Purposive Sampling technique. Data collect from food Record and misson Hb. Data analyze used Pearson product moment correlation test and Multiple Regression Analysis. Results: The results of this study obtained the average hemoglobin level of children is 10.18 (0.99). The results of the test on energy intake (ρ = 0.820), iron intake (ρ = 0.300), vitamin C intake (ρ = 0.300) which states no significant relationship with hemoglobin levels. Protein intake (ρ = 0,007), variation (ρ = 0,000), and frequency (ρ = -0,035) have significant relationship with hemoglobin level. Multivariate analysis of dietary variations significantly influenced hemoglobin levels in pre-school children (ρ = 0.000, r = 0.0636; R2 = 0.405). Conclusions: That daily intake, iron intake and vitamin C alone have no effect on hemoglobin, but it is necessary to increase protein intake, eating frequency setting especially variation in food menu. Required intervention strategies to increase intake, selection of foodstuffs, processing, presentation to children for iron absorption and control of anemia can be solved.
Background: In infancy, breast milk is the best food. Since the age of 6 months, babies begin to be given complementary breast milk food (MP-ASI). Giving the wrong MP-ASI will have an impact on nutritional disorders. The Karanganyar Regency in 2016 was 413 (0.8%), while the cases of under-fives were malnutrition which were found in 22 children. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of applying a balanced menu booklet to increasing infant weight at the age of 6-12 months in Karanganyar Regency. The method used in this study is the method in this study. Method: This research uses a quantitative method with a Quasy experiment in the form of pre-post test design. The sample in this study was 6-12 months Mother and Baby in Karanganyar District who had fulfilled the Inclusion and Exclusion criteria as many as 20 samples per group. Data analysis using paired and T independent T test. Results: The results of the control group study showed an average baby weight of 6.74 (0.63) kg to 6.86 (0.62) kg. Similarly, in the intervention group the average baby weight from 6.88 (0.44) kg to 7.25 (0.43) kg. The group given the booklet had a difference in the average increase in body weight higher (0.390 (0.151) kg) when compared to the group given only lectures (0.125 (0.121) kg). Conclusion: The statistical test results ρ value <0.001 which means there is an effect of the Implementation of a Balanced Menu Booklet Against the Increased Body Weight of 6-12 Months Babies in Karanganyar Regency. Health workers are advised to improve counseling skills to improve infant feeding practices that result in increased infant growth
Background: Pandemic COVID-19 has prompted the government to implement a social distancing policy. This also applies to pregnant mother to come to health workers unless there are signs of pregnancy. This study aims to know the influence of pregnancy services before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: This is Mixed Method study with the sample was a midwife who carried out the Midwifery Independent Practice or “Praktek Madiri Bidan” (PMB) in Sragen Regency, Central Java Province. In-depth interviews were conducted with 10 informants. Statistical test using Paired T test, qualitative data using transcription and categorization Results: The average number of visits to maternity care at PMB was 117.0 (21.83) visits per month in the two months prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, only 67,6 (7,63) monthly visits for two months during COVID 19 pandemic. Obtained ρ value 0,000 which means there is a difference in Pregnancy Care Service Visits before and during the COVID 19 pandemic at PMB Sragen Regency, Central Java. There are two themes in the results of the qualitative study, namely the anxiety of midwives in providing midwifery services during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Protocol for Pregnancy Care Services during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work motivation on the development of soft skills Preseptord in clinical practice learning. The method used in this research is quantitative with survey design. Population in this research are all midwives who work in RS Karanganyar and RS Sragen. Samples in this research is midwife who work in Maternity Room of Karanganyar Hospital and Sragen Hospital. The analysis of this study used chi square test and multiple logistic regression. The result of this research shows that there is influence of work motivation toward the development of soft skills of Preseptord in clinical practice learning (p value = 0,017) and POR = 9,000. Multivariate analysis of motivational influence controlled by characteristic variable (age, education, duration of work and training) showed that motivation and duration significantly influenced the development of soft skill of preceptor (ρ value = 0,011) and POR Adjusted = 2,546. Further analysis shows the influence of motivation with every aspect of soft skill (discipline, responsibility, communication and cooperation (ρ value <0.05). Conclusion: work motivation influences the development of soft skills (discipline, responsibility and cooperation) of preceptor in clinical practice learning.
