This study aimed to examine the prevalence of parental understanding on the Early Childhood Education in the beneficiary family of programs held by the International Non-Government Organization. The research participants were the beneficiary family listed and provided by World Vision Indonesia and Child Fund Indonesia. The research used a quantitative research approach with self-administered survey instruments. The sample used for the present research is the beneficiary of the programmes that had been implemented by INGO, which includes 325 research participants located in Jakarta and Banten. The data collection took place on March 2020 using online media survey, with validity test have been done before the research instruments shared to all the participants. There were nine questions in the survey with nominal data value for every question rated on a 5-point Likert scale and the ratings summed into items corresponding to early childhood education. The analysis of the research instrument was using SPSS series 25 and the all of items being tested were valid with reliability statistic number 896 on Alpha Cronbach scale. The result shown that the child’s education perceiving by the parents falls under the upper-class category with total score 16,341 out of 19,500 perfect score limit.
The aim of this research is to describe the introduction of International Non-Government Organization (INGO) institutions and programs received by beneficiaries. To meet these objectives, this research method uses quantitative descriptive type. The sampling technique used is stratified proportional sampling. The number of respondents in this study amounted to 325 respondents. The results revealed that this study indicate that most people have an introduction to the program in the intermediate category.
Poverty in rural areas is now reaching an alarming condition, according to the Central Statistics Agency at this time the poor in rural areas dominate the percentage of poverty in Indonesia by 60%. Efforts to improve the welfare of rural communities will not be separated from how people use and maximize their potential, especially in networking relevant to the issue of social capital. Based on the concept of social capital, there is currently a type of social capital linking, which means emphasizing how the community is able to build relationships with parties who have authority, especially in making policy. This is considered to be important to support the development of welfare for the community, especially in the Dago Creative Tourism Village. Based on this, the purpose of this study is how the community initiated the development of social capital linking in the community in Dago Creative Tourism Village. Therefore, based on these objectives, this study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The data collection is done by observation, study of documentation of relevant documents and interviews. In addition interviews were conducted on 15 informants obtained using purposive sampling technique to determine informants. The results of this study indicate that there are several ways in which people initiate government involvement in developing social capital linking, such as community legalizing organizations, people participating in activities organized by the government, and the community providing government opportunities to participate in every activity organized by the government
