Tolerance must be close to pluralism and multiculturalism which is not a new thing in academic studies. Many studies and research generalize about respect and appreciation for the diversity of ethnicity, religion, language and other cultures. For Javanese people who tend to be homogeneous in ethnicity but not too many long conflicts arise. Truth, the proof, One of the results of research in Salatiga which is one of the student cities in Central Java received the title of the second most tolerant city in Indonesia in 2018. But behind the award, there was contestation in the fields of education and religion. This paper will look again at tolerance in the Salatiga community after the award was obtained. Besides that, it also discussed competition in academia at IAIN Salatiga and Satya Wacana Kristen University (UKSW). Both educational institutions are based on religion, in which multiculturalism. Both educational institutions are based on religion, which is multicultural so that it impacts on the contestation of institutional policies, facilities and theological expansion. The results of this study are obtained from social phenomena which are understood by the phenomenology paradigm from reality understood in consciousness. In addition, during activities in Salatiga, there were also some social realities about tolerance and competition in the field of education. Finally, tolerance that has gone well does not mean without contestation. Contestation in this case is one of the social and cultural dynamics. Even to achieve social integration, sometimes conflict with good management is needed. This means that contestation or conflict does not always lead to division, but rather one of the paths to integration.
Purpose of the study: To determine the effectiveness of co-creation implementation by using students’ mastery of 10 skills as a new product, and to analyze the readiness stage for digitally integrated marketing communication 4.0 in higher education. Methodology: The technique of data collection was administered by giving questionnaires to respondents. The questionnaire consisting of 10 closed questions was created by researchers. Afterward, the data were processed by the SPSS application. The results proved to be valid if each indicator question had a value of Pearson correlation significant 1-tail less than 0.05. Meanwhile, the data are reliable if the Cronbach’s alpha reliability value is more than 0.60. The average final score can be converted into a level of product quality qualitatively with ideal assessment guidelines. Main Findings: The average percentage of students’ mastery of 10 skills in IAIN Salatiga is 47 percent for ability to solve complex problems, 49 percent for critical thinking, 50 percent for creativity, 51 percent for organizational ability, 57 percent for ability to corporate, 52 percent for emotional intelligence, 55 percent for daring to make a decision, 54 percent for contentment to serve, 52 percent for negotiation ability, and 55 percent for flexibility thinking. The students ‘mastery average of all skills is 52 percent in the range of Fair (F). The readiness to continue the next steps of digital integrated marketing 4.0 is quite ready (QR). Applications of this study: This study can be useful for practical review for the implementation of co-creation in higher education as the new vision of marketing in the 4.0 era. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study proposes that the effectiveness of co-creation in higher education can be measured by the students’ mastery of the 10 skills.

Dana Desa is one of the new policies to realize development based on the needs of rural communities. In its implementation there is a role that is often overlooked, it is women. This paper discusses the process of formulating dana desa policies in Pengalusan Village. In addition, the main focus is on the role of women when formulating these policies. Applying gender approach this study found that the planning process for the formulation of dana desa policies is carried out with the musrenbangdes which is carried out before the APBDes decision is agreed. But from the planning through evaluation processes there is no specific discussion related to the ideas, interest, and the role of women in the development processes in the village. The elite as decision makers are men, and village development policies are more masculine, one of which is demonstrated through physical development. Women's ideas have not received enough attention.
