The purpose of this research is to find out the problems of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses literature study or library research by taking reading sources from secondary data collected through textbooks, scientific journals, e-books and other sources relevant to the research problem. This type of research was analyzed qualitatively with an interactive model consisting of data collection, data reduction, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this study indicate that online learning is one solution so that the learning process continues during the Covid-19 pandemic. But in this learning there are various problems experienced by various parties, namely educational institutions, educators (teachers and lecturers), students and parents of students. The problems that exist in educational institutions are the lack of availability of telecommunication technology infrastructure, multimedia, information and platforms that support the process of teaching and learning activities online, from educators in the form of limitations in the use of IT, as well as the difficulty of forming student personality characteristics and applying learning media so that students can understand the material presented, from students, namely most students are not familiar with online learning and due to limited internet facilities, from parents the lack of time available to accompany their children during online learning because not all parents can divide their time between work and mentoring children in House.
The purpose of this study is to find out the results of the application of media PhET Simulation in physics learning in matter of temperature and heat. The research design used was a randomized design control group pre-test post-test. The study population was all 11th grade students of SMA Y Serang which numbered five classes. The research sample consisted of one experimental class and one control class. The results showed that the application of physics learning using media PhET simulation on temperature and heat material produced a 37% higher N-gain value than the control class using direct learning. It can be concluded that PhET simulation software-based learning is interactive learning in physics learning and can improve students’ science process skills.
This research aims to find out the influence of guided inquiry learning models on the ability of scientific literacy in high school students in the city of Tangerang. This research is a pre-experimental design study that aims to determine the ability of scientific literacy by using a guided inquiry learning model for high school students in the city of Tangerang in Newton’s law material. The research design used was One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design with a sample of 32 students of class X MIA 3 of SMAN 11 in Tangerang City. The average N-gain results for students of SMAN 11 Kota Tangerang amounting to 0.4060 are in the medium category. So it was concluded that the ability of scientific literacy by using the guided inquiry learning model of high school students in the Regency and City of Tangerang is in the medium category.
The purpose of this study was to increase students’ understanding of the food security concept. The experimental method was being applied in this research. Moreover, research subjects were divided into two groups, one as an experimental group and another as a control group. The subjects of this study were 100 students at the Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Fifty students are guided under Augmented Reality based blended learning system as the experimental group. Another class of 50 students is on the control group, which studies with the conventional blended learning approach. The experimental class obtained 73% of the N-gain result, while control class obtained 50%. Therefore, it can be concluded that using augmented reality can improve the students’ understanding of the food security concept.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
