Research on the Determination of Viscosity Mooney From Rubber by Fillers Charcoal has been done. Each latex was added into the coconut shell charcoal ( particle size 80 mesh ) were 36 , 38 , 40 , 42, and 44 gram. Then the latex is coagulated with formic acid in pH 4.7. Formic acid is used as a control for the rubber crumple without the addition of coconut shell. Research carried out by measuring the quality of rubber Money Viscosity. From the results of research it turns out that the value of the viscosity of the money obtained by the addition of charcoal to the rubber in the latex is 72.5 ; 74 ; 75.5 ; 77 ; and 75. It can be seen that the value of the best rubber Mooney viscosity of 75 , so the rubber with medium Mooney viscosity value able to provide a meeting point between the energy efficient with superior physical properties .
Penelitian tentang analisis Kalsium dari daun kelapa sawit secara destruksi basah dan Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer di PTP Nusantara IV Bahjambi telah dilakukan. Destruksi basah merupakan perombakan sampel dengan asam-asam kuat baik tunggal maupun campuran, kemudian dioksidasi dengan menggunakan zat oksidator. Kesempurnaan destruksi ditandai dengan diperolehnya larutan jernih pada larutan destruksi. Dari hasil analisa ini kadar rata-rata Kalsium yang terdapat dalam daun yang diperoleh dari sepuluh sampel daun kelapa sawit yang dilakukan secara duplo (dua kali pengukuran untuk satu sampel) dapat dikategorikan tinggi (0,86 ppm) bila dibandingkan terhadap kandungan nilai kritis hara daun (0,7 ppm), berarti pada keadaan ini nilai kadar kalsium pada tanaman kelapa sawit tidak sesuai dengan yang diharapkan dan menyebabkan pH tinggi yang kemudian menghambat peredaran banyak nutrisi mikro serta membuat mereka menjadi tidak dapat diserap tanaman Kata Kunci: Kalsium, Daun Kelapa Sawit, Destruksi Basah
As Have been conducted by analysis element of hara phosphorus at palm leaf in indonesia oil palm research institute at medan. Determination of phosphorus rate in palm leaf conducted with methode of spektrofotometri uv-visible. Result of analysis indicate that phosphorus rate the obtained is 0,16% in palm leaf. Of this result indicate that phosphorus rate in palm leaf still less, answer the demand of standard which have been determined by that is between 0,17 - 0,19%.
Barangan banana (Musa acuminata linn) is also called Medan banana which is often found in North Sumatra. Banana peels are known to contain phenolic compounds that have potential as antioxidants. This study aims to determine the antioxidant activity of raw and ripe banana peel extract of Barangan banana (Musa acuminata linn) using the DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-pikrihidrazil) method. The data obtained was calculated to determine the antioxidant activity. The results showed that the antioxidant activity of the ethanol extract of Barangan raw banana peel IC50 = 32,52 μg/mL, the ethanol extract of Barangan ripe banana peel IC50 = 83,60 μg/mL, and the vitamin C comparator obtained an IC50 value of 5,00. Raw banana peel extract has higher antioxidant activity than ripe banana peel extract.
