According to process requirements of edge rolling in roughing stage of continuous hot strip rolling, common methods of short stroke control were analyzed. A 3D elastic-plastic FEM model for roughing stage of continuous hot strip rolling was established using ABAQUS/Explicit, and research on deformation law of plate head and tailwidth lossin different working conditions was done. Besides, control effects of broken line SSC method and polynomial SSC method were analyzed. On the basis of them, a new polynomial SSC model was established. The model is effective in controlling width loss of plate head and tail and is beneficial to improve the quality of plate in some degree.
Two types of high modulus asphalt mixtures are introduced. Dynamic modulus and phase angle of these two mixtures are tested with Simple Performance Testing System under different temperatures, loading frequencies and confining pressures. Based on time-temperature superposition principle, dynamic modulus master curves and time-temperature shift factors at reference temperature are obtained using nonlinear square least square regression, and phase angle master curves are constructed utilizing the same time-temperature shift factors. The influence of confining pressure on mechanical properties of high modulus asphalt mixture is discussed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
