= 10.64 mm -1, ;t = 1.54051 A. The structure was solved by the heavy-atom method and refined by a fullmatrix least-squares procedure to R = 0.04 for 791 reflections. The planes of the two cyclopentadienyl groups are essentially parallel and the molecular configuration suggests considerable steric strain in the bridging group. The structure is poorly resolved, probably because of high thermal motion.
The title compound was synthesised in an attempt to prepare phosphenyl-tri-ortho-toluidine, X-ray crystallographic studies show that it contains a P-O-P bridge with extensively hydrogen bonding between groups. The P-N bond lengths are different and this can be attributed to some combination of hydrogen bonding and varying p II-d ZII interactions along the bond.
Citation analysis was used to measure the impact of GESAMP, the Joint Group of Experts on the Scientific Aspects of Marine Environmental Protection, which since 1969 has published reports for the United Nations and seven of its agencies. Web of Science was used to search for citations to 114 publications, of which 15 are journal articles or books.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
