Present research comprises, isomerisation of series of (2E)-1-{4-[2-(4-chlorophenyl)imino-4-substitutedimino)amino-1,3,5-dithiazino-6yl]aminophenyl}-3-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl) prop-2-en-1-one (Ia-e) were successfully carried using sodium bicarbonate in aqueous ethanol in to (2E)-1-{4-[2,4-dithio-3-(4-chlorophenyl)-5-substituted-1,3,5-triazino-6-yl]aminophenyl}-3-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1-one (IIa-e). Recently a novel series of 6-{4-amino-N-[2-(diethylamino)ethyl]-o-anisamido-5-yl}amino-2-substitutedimino-3substituted-4-thio-1,3,5-thiadizines was successfully synthesized by the isomerisation of 4-{4-amino-N-[2-(diethylamino)ethyl]-o-anisamido-5-yl}-amino-2,6-disubstitutedimino-1,3,5-dithiazines by 5% aqueous sodiumbicarbonate in ethanol medium. The structures of all synthesized compounds were justified on the basis of chemical characteristics, elemental analysis and spectral studies.
:Recently in this laboratory 1-substituted-2-formamidino-4-amino-6-thio-1,3,5-triazines (XIIIa-g) were synthesised by isomerisation of 2-substituted imino-4-amino-6-formamidino-1,3,5-thiadiazines (XIIa-g) successfully by refluxing with 10% aqueous ethanolic sodium bicarbonate medium.
