Expressions are obtained for sink strength and preference of dislocation multipole and dislocation wail both, in the absence and presence of size elastic interaction of radiation point defects with dislocations. The multipole and the wall are shown to absorb preferentially interstitials than vacancies. Multipole preference, irrespective the number of composing dislocations, may be both greater and smaller than isolated dislocation preference depending on the type of dislocations and geometry of their position in the multipoie. Dislocation wall preference is much smaller than isolated dislocation preference.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
