Background: Anemia is a condition where the red blood cells and their capacity to carry oxygen is not adequate to meet the physiological needs. In pregnancy iron demand is high and loss of appetite can adversely affect this condition. So, guidelines to combat anemia has provisions to provide iron in the form of iron folic acid tablets to pregnant women during antenatal and postnatal care. But compliance is still low among pregnant women who needs attention. Methods: This study included 192 postnatal mothers in Cheluvamba hospital, Mysore. Details about socio-demographic factors and number of tablets taken during antenatal period were collected using proforma. Pregnant women who had taken less than hundred tablets during antenatal period were considered non-compliant.Results: The overall compliance to iron folic tablets was 71%. The factors which were independently associated with non-compliance are nuclear family, less number of antenatal visit, tablets from private source, and anemia in current pregnancy. The reasons for non-compliance among the pregnant women who were non-compliant were inadequate counselling by health care worker followed by side effects, cost of tablets, ignorance and fear of side effects. Conclusions: Family support, adequate counselling and continuous supply of tablets free of cost would increase the compliance to tablets among pregnant women.

Lack of knowledge and lack of recognition of hand hygiene opportunities during patient care are mainly responsible for poor hand hygiene among health care workers. Methods: Knowledge on hand hygiene was assessed using WHO hand hygiene questionnaire among medical and nursing students of Mysore medical college and research institute. Results: Among 276 medical and 225 nursing students who participated in the study, 26% of medical and 33% of nursing students had received formal training in hand hygiene in the last three years. Less than 50% of students had knowledge on source, routes of transmission of germs and minimal time needed for hand rubbing in hospital setting. Conclusions: The knowledge is limited on hand hygiene actions which shows the importance of inclusion of hand hygiene topic in curriculum.
Apsura drama caused great twists in the history of Eelam Tamilans. The 1960s saw the emergence of a number of theatrical theories to express the inherent feelings of world drama and gave them new styles in the arena. They stood on different platforms in the theatrical setting and outside the river, focusing on the viewers and twisting their mental congestion to create clarity and taste. Absurd theatrical style also led to the development of new forms of action to bring their own unique inward expression to the history of the theater. The body language of the performer, the way the voice is expressed with fluctuations, and the stage movement gave a great turn. In its absurd style, Samuel Beckett wrote the play waiting for Godot. Waiting for Kodo changed the already builtin font structure, river mode, its acting, and stage movement, giving the viewer a new experience. The way language is handled in acting, the way it is spoken, the way it moves abnormally on stage, the meaning extends to acting with other character. The author N. Sundaralingam revealed in 1968 that the play Apasuram was written in the same style. It is a symbolic play that expresses the socio-cultural and political expression of the time. He brought the river to a standstill in 1975. Ordained by the College of Theater in 1978 and by the expatriate A.C. Tacitus in 1991. It was incorporated into Sri Lankan universities after 1991 in its full form and was developed in 2018 by a oneyear internship under the guidance of Senior Lecturer in Fine Arts, Eastern University, S. Chandrakumar. It was staged at the Nallaiya Hall on March 27 at the 2019 World Drama Festival. Voluntary, in order to respond to theatrical ethnographers, worked with self-discovery and invented new absurd modesty and evolved with creativity. The characters were shown on the stage shaking the body, moving, talking, lip muscle face, eye expression. The purpose of this study is to reveal the structure of the river, the way in which it is characterized by ethics, and the impact of cultural river sophistication.
